1.0 out of 5 stars Disconnects constantly , cannot sense pen

Sadly, faulty product . wanted to give huion a try since ive been using wacom for so many years and huion is cheaper. I factory reset my com and tried huion with the huion driver and there were so many issues. it would work for a while then disconnect. It happened so frequently that it really disrupted my focus and workflow. Sometimes it would be connected but not sense my pen. Other times it would disconnect. I am returning it and going back to wacom.

5.0 out of 5 stars There is a screen protector already attached, multiple monitors take an extra step in setup.

I bought this for my son who is a budding artist. This review is just for my experience in setup as I'm certainly no artist so cannot comment on those aspects. First, it wasn't very clear if there was a screen protector already attached or not. You'll peel off protective film that looks like protective film. Under that the screen protector is already attached but it is so clear it doesn't look like there is one. To confirm just try sliding your fingernail under it at one of the corners and sure enough it is there.

Plugging in the cables took a minute to understand. The three in one adaptor plugs into the top port (with the logo on the left hand side). The orange USB is power and there is a power extension cable (also orange) to give you more length to get to an outlet. If you have appropriate power the screen on the tablet will show your desktop, if you've plugged into your laptop and the screen doesn't turn on then there isn't enough power and you should run to an electrical outlet.

You also plug in the USB as well as HDMI to your Laptop/Computer. If you just have one monitor you'll see the desktop on the tablet. If you have multiple monitors you need to open the Huion software and click "Working Area." From there you can choose your tablet (acts like a third monitor) and click that as it is the one you'll be drawing on. This caused confusion because before I did that we would try to draw on the tablet but the pen would end up on our primary (Laptop) monitor. When you click the "Working Area" in the Huion software you can select your tablet as the "working area" and it will work.

Finally, I was a little unsure as to the software that would work with this tablet. As far as I can tell the tablet just works as a third monitor so we just dragged the software we wanted to use (MS Paint, Corel Draw) over from the primary monitor to the tablet monitor and everything works fine. I imagine there could be some finer technical aspects I don't yet understand but if the tablet just works as a third monitor then I don't see where there could be an issue with some software not "working" with this tablet. Any clarification from the company on software that might "not work" for some reason would be great.

4.0 out of 5 stars Frustrated, but NOT the Product's Fault.

I ordered this, really excited for my first display tablet! However, this has been nothing but a headache.

It is very important to note that if you have an INTEGRATED GRAPHICS CARD, meaning the graphics card that is already installed in the PC, the HDMI cable HAS to go to that port. This caused a problem because my monitor uses that port. I got an adapter, all it did was make my monitor's screen malfunction and completely shut off, putting the tablet into "rest mode."
It did work with my Mac 2015 laptop, however it caused a lot of eyestrain since I primarily use my 32" monitor for art. So for laptop users this is super easy to set up! Only thing would be that if your laptop doesn't have an HDMI port, just gotta buy an adapter!

This was as $232 display tablet, that would eventually become an additional $200 for a proper graphics card. I wanted something that would plug in and work, not an investment.

I definitely got over excited and jumped the gun getting this, and now I know what I need to do for the next time!

4.0 out of 5 stars Strange looking screen, but ultimately does the job!

I've had this tablet for more than half a year now. It's been great to draw on, and even watch things on, since it's a display. Though the screen always looked weirdly foggy, no matter what I cleaned it with, it always had some strange haze, that isn't detrimental at all using the screen, but a bit strange for me to see, since I've usually used crystal clear displays before, like IPads and such. It's a strange issue, but everything else seems perfect, with it's ease of use and responsive screen!

Comprei de presente pra minha filha, é necessário usar um app que é pago à parte se quiser liberar mais recursos, mas o valor é ok, dá pra usar no modo gratuito também só que com limite de tempo e recursos limitados, vieram muitas ponteiras, ela amou!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good so far

So far I only just got the tablet so I’ll update as we go but I just set it up. Set up was easy and no issue there. Everything was nicely packaged however I did notice the glove is ripped upon arrival at the seam. Apart from this it’s really not bad at all especially since I am coming from a Kamvas 16 pro to the 13.

5.0 out of 5 stars It’s almost as good as the reviews I’ve seen on the site.

The functions were a little clunky at first because I had no idea what I was doing..I just know that I needed a bigger display than my iPad to do some of my pieces. After awhile and with much practice the functionality to the display works wonderfully. Tho my only other grievance is to more concisely label the setting buttons bc the manual doesn’t explain it in a way that’s understandable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Drawing tablet

So it's been Two years I've owned this thing and there's not much negative things I can say about this little tablet, I love it oh so much. I recently upgraded to a kamvas 22 Plus which I might write a review of later on after more usage, but I feel like that should speak volumes of how Huion is caught up with Wacom.

I first had the Wacom bamboo, then the Wacom Intuos pro then to Huion Kamvas 13.
I bought this tablet when it was around 400 dollars, same price as the intuos pro but the Kamvas has a frikkin screen. It was absolutely a steal. Of course I was really cautious because the Kamvas 13 was the first Huion product I've bought and the first time trying out a different brand other than the well known Wacom. And after two years of usage, I can say I'm really happy to own this tablet!

It's really easy to set up

It's really easy to use

And feels like a premium product. the price dropped since then. was 399.99 then and 259.99 now?! Thats a friggen steal.

There is a slight negative aspect from a long usage, but it doesnt really bother me is there is a little bit of light leakage on my top right corner. But it hardly affects my day to day use and its a very small leakage.

I've used this tablet quite alot and I never had a failure once, ever. It's still going strong and I've taken good care of it. It works really well with windows aaaaand It works really well on linux as well. I had to set up additional parameters for it to work and it worked like a charm.
However for the linux users out there, theres a beta driver for huion tablets over at git hub! Recently paired this tablet with my laptop running linux and the beta huion drivers work really well. However I'm running on GNOME wayland only, I cant say how it'll run over on xorg. For xorg I've used the digimend kernel patches on my desktop and works really well.
