Sadly, faulty product . wanted to give huion a try since ive been using wacom for so many years and huion is cheaper. I factory reset my com and tried huion with the huion driver and there were so many issues. it would work for a while then disconnect. It happened so frequently that it really disrupted my focus and workflow. Sometimes it would be connected but not sense my pen. Other times it would disconnect. I am returning it and going back to wacom.

Wow! The price, the quality, the precision. Must say one of the best out there, from experience it's even better then the iPad. The precision of the pen/stylus is such that no matter how small you write, it will come out great.
I only have one important note for buyers: If your tablet comes also with a matt screen protector, i sincerely recommend removing it and buying eighter a clear one or none at all... for month i thought the quality of the screen was trash (lighting was bad and blurry), until I finally removed it, and it's amazing, i dont know what made them think that this screen protector was even worth it.

Product seemed fantastic, I wish it worked for me. I downloaded driver and it did work as far as communication with my laptop. I could not resolve black screen issue of tablet. I worked in IT so am very familiar with trouble shooting and also tried all recommendations. Driver kept hanging in my Login Items and made uninstall difficult.

Easy Return and by all accounts a great company that I would trust. Just did not work out for me. I have a newer MacBook Pro with latest OS and I did provide another power source for the tablet to no avail. It appeared to be working great as a visual on the laptop but I did not like not seeing what I was doing on the tablet.

I would have tried a higher end model of this brand but this experience made me realize I also wanted a standalone tablet as I did not care for being limited with the wired connection. Lucky the driver gave me some problems as I was resolving I found some unwanted Malware on my Mac! Unrelated...just a humorous but true foot note. I gave five stars because I believe for the price point this would be great. Not everyone had these issues. So it is worth the risk to try it out. Perhaps not if you have my same system.

I bought this for my son who is a budding artist. This review is just for my experience in setup as I'm certainly no artist so cannot comment on those aspects. First, it wasn't very clear if there was a screen protector already attached or not. You'll peel off protective film that looks like protective film. Under that the screen protector is already attached but it is so clear it doesn't look like there is one. To confirm just try sliding your fingernail under it at one of the corners and sure enough it is there.

Plugging in the cables took a minute to understand. The three in one adaptor plugs into the top port (with the logo on the left hand side). The orange USB is power and there is a power extension cable (also orange) to give you more length to get to an outlet. If you have appropriate power the screen on the tablet will show your desktop, if you've plugged into your laptop and the screen doesn't turn on then there isn't enough power and you should run to an electrical outlet.

You also plug in the USB as well as HDMI to your Laptop/Computer. If you just have one monitor you'll see the desktop on the tablet. If you have multiple monitors you need to open the Huion software and click "Working Area." From there you can choose your tablet (acts like a third monitor) and click that as it is the one you'll be drawing on. This caused confusion because before I did that we would try to draw on the tablet but the pen would end up on our primary (Laptop) monitor. When you click the "Working Area" in the Huion software you can select your tablet as the "working area" and it will work.

Finally, I was a little unsure as to the software that would work with this tablet. As far as I can tell the tablet just works as a third monitor so we just dragged the software we wanted to use (MS Paint, Corel Draw) over from the primary monitor to the tablet monitor and everything works fine. I imagine there could be some finer technical aspects I don't yet understand but if the tablet just works as a third monitor then I don't see where there could be an issue with some software not "working" with this tablet. Any clarification from the company on software that might "not work" for some reason would be great.

I ordered this, really excited for my first display tablet! However, this has been nothing but a headache.

It is very important to note that if you have an INTEGRATED GRAPHICS CARD, meaning the graphics card that is already installed in the PC, the HDMI cable HAS to go to that port. This caused a problem because my monitor uses that port. I got an adapter, all it did was make my monitor's screen malfunction and completely shut off, putting the tablet into "rest mode."
It did work with my Mac 2015 laptop, however it caused a lot of eyestrain since I primarily use my 32" monitor for art. So for laptop users this is super easy to set up! Only thing would be that if your laptop doesn't have an HDMI port, just gotta buy an adapter!

This was as $232 display tablet, that would eventually become an additional $200 for a proper graphics card. I wanted something that would plug in and work, not an investment.

I definitely got over excited and jumped the gun getting this, and now I know what I need to do for the next time!

Definitely works for my needs as a beginner digital artist. Decent screen size/brightness, fairly light. Basically a second monitor you can draw on, and I'm using free drawing software I installed on my laptop (Krita). You can program all the buttons very easily which is also nice.

I do wonder at build quality though. I've had it for about a month, having used it for about 30 hours total, and the finish on one of the buttons is alreading wearing off. The back finish also comes off easily; I accidentally brushed the back corner of it on the stand that came with it, and even with very gentle pressure it left a mark like I'd drawn on it. It's annoying that the accessory it comes with can damage the main product so easily. Will likely update this if more problems occur within a short period of time from purchase.
