Product description
Review
"[Thirty] years after it first appeared, the wisdom of The 7 Habits is more relevant than ever. On an individual level people are burning out, and on a collective level we are burning up the planet. So Dr. Covey's emphasis on self-renewal and his understanding that leadership and creativity require us to tap into our own physical, mental, and spiritual resources are exactly what we need now." --Arianna Huffington
"Every so often a book comes along that not only alters the lives of readers but leaves an imprint on the culture itself. The 7 Habits is one of those books." --Daniel Pink, author of Drive and When
"No person lasts forever, but books and ideas can endure. Stephen R. Covey's life is done, but his work is not. It continues, right here in this book as alive today as when first written." --Jim Collins

Next to the Bible, the Most Transformative Book of my Life
26 June 2020 -
Published on Amazon.comVerified Purchase
I frequently buy this book as part of my graduation presents. I just gave a young woman this book yesterday, and told her that other than the Bible, this book has been the most transformative and important book in my life. Although its been years since I read it in full, I use its principles in my life, quote it, remember it. Thinking about buying the workbook as a refresher course for myself. Not a book to read and put down. I book to transform your life if you apply its principles in your personal life and professional life.

Poor print quality

I read this book at least 25 years ago and I get that a lot has changed in the printing industry since then. But the quality of the paper and the printing of this version is really disappointing. The text is cramped and the paper feels worse than the cheapest newsprint. One page has a printing error that makes the first handful of words nearly impossible to read. Obviously not a huge issue to have rough paper and one illegible page. Just was expecting better.

The quality of the book is seriously second grade

The pages quality is pretty bad.
The print is faded and too small, really difficult to read.
I have already read this book and thought of buying it for my personal library but i might end up returning this.

A Must-Read!

I now understand why people think so highly of this book. Amazing concepts, ideas and theories - and truths - to integrate into both one’s personal and professional life; it really makes you think and (re)consider. I’ve had multiple “wow” moments as some ideas and ways of thinking really spoke to me. Sean Covey’s additions and perspectives were a great touch, I found, as well.
I didn’t expect the book to have actionable items and exercises you could work on as you read it - found this captivating. Highly recommend, as do many, many others!

Great content, Less happy with the physical copy itself

I began reading the kindle version of this book. I really enjoyed the book after the first 100 pages and wanted a physical copy. Where the kindle book had diagram errors, I briefly skimmed through the hardcover copy and it seems to be corrected in this edition. Will update review about book content once I actually finish. Additionally, I had to reorder my hardcover book because it came dinged. The second copy seems free of any defects, but is still a bit dirty/smudgey on the cover.
