Just binge-read this incredibly insightful and helpful book. Dr. Mike really helped me understand how what we eat affects my stress level and anxiety. I have already started to change my diet and feel SO MUCH BETTER. I was thrilled with this book and would highly recommend to anyone suffering from anxiety!

I was dissapointed with this book. Although there was some useful information the book was too wordy and too technical, similar to a text book and actually made me more anxious. The book mentions several times that panic attacks can cause or make you more likely to suffer a heart attack and that you should not exercise if you are anxious because you could have a heart attack. Most doctors and books say that panic attacks are not dangerous, just scary and uncomfortable. Would not recommend this book at all.

I followed Dr. Mike Dow’s 14 day program and felt such huge improvements in sleep, less anxiety and stress. Living in a busy world, long commute, long hours at work can leave so many of us stressed and frazzled. I have always suffered from digestive issues and learned to deal with it, but this was eye opening to understand how stress and anxiety can disrupt gut health, that aides in draining your brain if it goes untreated. The tools in the book, will help set you up for long term healing. Omega 3 foods and probiotics, yielded more energy and restful sleep. Cheers to a solution that works!

This is 100% the best book I've read in years. I struggle with severe anxiety, insomnia, and OCD tendencies and this book gave me the answers I needed. If you are looking for natural remedies to your mental worries, you have to check this out. Couldn't recommend it more.
