Keeps my dogs occupied. It’s not easy and it’s not hard to get the kibble out. It’s just right. They quickly learn that they need to spin and roll the ball. Fun for more than one dog at a time.
I have a five month old super-eater who scarfs her food like no one's business. We also have a range of carpet and vinyl floors and had seen some small dogs get their jaws stuck in the noisy hard plastic balls. All I can say is this is a lunchtime lifesaver. Not only does it slower her eating down, but she will spend lots of time rolling it around, and the rubber and polygon indents help with grip so she loves to prance around with it, too, or take it to the floor of optimal rolling surface. I thought the hole would be too big because it's not adjustable, but her kibble goes in and the hole has a wall part way up to keep it from just totally flowing out. It acts as a little barrier/stopgap for smaller bites and in fact can be tough to get those last 10 pieces of kibble out unless I take it and shake it straight up and down to get around the wall. So pleased with this treat ball. Oh, and it says "large" but my 23lb pup is still kinda wee and with the strategic hexagon bevels (or whatever) she can tote it around no problem and I'm not worried about her jaw getting stuck or anything weird happening.

UPDATE: I eventually figured out the right size (super tiny) a treat needs to be to fall out of the ball instead of get stuck in the lining. Now it is my dog's favorite toy and he even asks to have it refilled. It keeps him busy pushing it around, picking it up and dropping it to get the treat out. He's a bernese mountain dog, so the treats are so small compared to his size but it is fine because he could stand to lose a little weight. Keeping one star off for difficulty to clean/effort to figure out appropriate treat size. --- Bought this based on a recommendation from the vet. While my dog seems to like it in brief spurts, I'm finding it about as difficult as I expected it to be to get the treats out when you want to clean it. I was hesitant because I could just imagine there would be this very issue. There is an inside rim that the treats get stuck behind. Perhaps it is intended to make it that much harder for the dog to get treats but I feel like it almost never drops a treat and when you need to clean it - forget it.
Great feeder for Dalmatians. My two get bored easily. Load the ball with small dry food and it keeps them eating until the balls are empty. Must keep the floors clean so they can eat off them. When the food gets low the ball does not empty completely. We pick the balls up after their feeding because my two will destroy them because they are made of a soft plastic.
This is our second purchase since we lost our first one during our move. The ball is very durable and thick. Our neighbor's dog tried to chew it apart and gave up after 10 minutes. This keeps our dog (and us) entertained for quite some time. We typically put treats in it that are bigger (thus harder to get out) and small (easier to fall out). It is fun to watch our dog tip and turn it with his paw and finally bat it around on the floor. We purchased a different (more expensive) ball from L&M and it falls apart after rolling one foot. I highly recommend this ball and brand!
