After traveling to Japan I noticed that many of the hair care products work just fine on African-American hair. So this is my third purchase of a different brand and I must say they all work very very well. The scent is mild and very pleasing and the moisturizing is great. The product left my hair shiny moisturized and very manageable.

I absolutely love most Japanese shampoos and conditioners. When I saw this set was on Amazon, I decided to give it a try. After using it a couple of times, I think it fits the bill. It has a pleasant scent (though not my favorite) and leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth.

Updated review—- this still has a strong lingering scent. But holy crap. This has softened and moisturized my hair more than any other set ever has. I will probably try another set from them and see if I prefer a different scent, but the results are worth the scent issue. It doesn’t smell bad, just strong! But it works really really well!!

I wanted to write a review becuase while this isn’t a bad set, it has a very very very strong scent to me. It does feel like it softened my hair, and I’ve been dealing with some damage since having my baby, so I will continue to use it. But- it’s not something I would purchase again. Simply becuase of the smell, id like to find an Asian shampoo that is
Not highly perfumed. It does feel like it works 100% better than American shampoos at really conditioning the hair and bringing moisture. But the overload of scent! Is just too much.

Lasting scent.

My initial impression on this product after one wash was that my hair felt very soft. I wouldn’t say silky but it felt healthier.

SHAMPOO: I liked that the shampoo didn’t give that squeaky clean but dry feel. Instead my hair lathered quite well and felt almost as if it was conditioned after the rinse. The scent was very pleasant and not too sweet or candy like which is what I was worried about.

CONDITIONER: I feel like this worked really well in detangling my hair and leaving it well moisturized. My hair went for two more days still feeling as soft as ever. The scent was a little strange I guess? But the end result of the hair smelled more like the shampoo. It did a great job overall.

My favorite things about this were that it works amazingly with straight and thick hair. Very moisturizing. And I looove that the scent was long lasting. I got compliments and the scent of my hair☺️

I have used this product on and off for almost a year now and it’s been a love hate relationship. I have curly, wavy, frizzy, dry hair (normal scalp)this made my hair incredibly soft and manageable. It’s amazing! The scent really bothered me at first but I’ve gotten use to it and doesn’t bother me anymore. With other shampoo and conditioners even though my hair is soft I always have to style my hair to smooth it out. With this stuff I don’t! I can’t believe it. The only down side is with continued use this starts to irritate my scalp. It gets itchy and gives my dandruff which I’ve never had in my life. So I have to switch back and forth between s&c. It’s not bad enough to make me stop using it. It’s so nice to wash my hair, and not have to worry about using an iron on it. I will still re purchase but maybe try the others in this brand. If you are bothered by strong perfume scents or sensitive to scents I do not recommend this.
