Idk why many people complain that it keeps breaking in the first week. They must have not followed instructions on install. The cord is supposed to be tightened to stay under the plastic lip. The cord takes most of the stress of carrying, the plastic ring should not be under a lot of force. If it's installed correctly and you don't abuse it, it should hold up great. I am glad i bought this because when i'm carrying lots of stuff i like to slide my whole forearm through it and it frees up my hand for other things. I have a 64oz bottle and I haven't had issues. I barely found out after a few weeks that the compass doubles as a whistle which is kinda neat. Lol
I thought this was a silly accessory but I’m pretty obsessed with it! I love that I can carry my bottle like a wristlet, hang it from the strap on my purse, or hang it from the stroller, but most of all I love the whistle! I use it to call the kids in from the playground instead of having to yell and have them say WHAT? lol whistle means come in now, no conversation. Also, as you can see I hook my keys on so one last thing the fumble or forget when I’m rushing out the door.
I love the color of this, and the fact that it matches my bottle perfectly. About the install, it was a little difficult, but once I warmed it up enough, it went on relatively well— DON’T FORCE IT; that’s what causes it to tear, and if you use heat, let it cool down properly before using it. Now, onto the little bonus features— Whistle: it’s pretty loud, made my ears ring when I tried it out, perfect for emergency situations, especially with all the weirdos out there. Mini compass: I haven’t tried it out yet, but I honestly wasn’t expecting it when I ordered it. It’s cute and placed in a spot where it isn’t in the way, and could prove to be very useful if placed in a survival situation. Flint and scrapper: Honestly, this function is so cool! This was something that I wasn’t expecting at all, but I absolutely love that they added into this handle! You use the flint to scrape against the middle prong of the clip to crate sparks, and the scrapper part to cut the cord into desired pieces! Honestly, if I were on naked and afraid, I’d take this handle with me. Overall, I haven’t had any issues with the paracord handle at all, and always get compliments on the aesthetic of it paired with my Iron Flask. The reviews seem divided, but the customer service seems to be above satisfactory, so I’d say it’s safe to say, you can put your trust in this brand, I’ve bought two paracord handles and two Iron Flasks already, and love them so much! Thanks for the read!
All good. (Made in China, what isn’t) the dipping-straw lid works great. You may need a special straw brush to clean the straw thoroughly. It comes with two. Extra caps. Not sure when I’ll use them but thank you. The silicone bottom protector is a good accessory purchase. It keeps it from sliding and helps identify the bottle as yours.
I would give it four stars because the compass fell off and broke when I dropped my Iron Flask, but I didn't know it came with a compass until I received it in the mail. It does look odd with an empty space where the compass should be. I like the Flint and whistle that comes with the Paracord handle and the black Paracord itself. It's a great accessory everyone should add to their Iron Flask.
I rarely give 5 star reviews, and normally this one would've gotten a 4 based off product durability and satisfaction. When I received my paracord carrier, the cord had a fray in it, from the plastic ring, which broke the second I put it on my ironflask 32oz. That very moment I contacted the seller, and an representative contacted me very quickly asking me to register the warranty and they would get it fixed for me. They sent me a brand new one and it arrived 3 days earlier than the representative said it would. They were very nice, and got the job done super fast. I'll continue to use the Ironflask brand, if not for quality but for their customer service and warranty!
This handle made carrying my Iron Flask a lot easier. It’s wonderful and very secure as it looks like it won’t come off easily. Packaging, as usual, was nice and elegant. Overall, great accessory to our existing bottle and made things easier for me!
It's quite a value for what it is. I came with a little oil filled compass, not sure if it works really well yet, a tiny ferro rod and what could be a tiny serrated edge or steel in the buckle, along with a whistle that is quite loud on the buckle as well. It works really well as described, I'm not sure about the plastic and durability yet but the loop is wide enough even for my large hands and it has the buckle release if it got snagged or anything as well.
After months of daily use I wanted to give this a review. The handle and clasp are made well and hold up. The provided carabiner is not meant for anything substantial, works best for attaching keys or something small. I have not tried to support the container's (40oz) full weight with it, which I'm sure it COULD do. You can tell from the construction of the carabiner and black plastic ring it attaches to, that it would shorten the life drastically. Even with that I still give this 5 stars, I highly recommend this handle.
