5.0 out of 5 stars This worked wonderfully on wrought iron
Reviewed in the United States on 15 July 2018
I broke a leg off my grandmother's 1940's wrought iron outdoor side table and was sick about it. Before tossing it in the trash, I decided to try a J-B Weld Steelstik. It was a clean straight across break (I had dropped the table too hard on cement). I thoroughly washed and sandpapered the leg section. You have to work quick with this. I decided to do 1/2 at a time, about 1" of putty for each side. I had my doubts it would hold at first, I physically had to hold the leg joined together for around 10 minutes. Then I let it cure for 60 minutes and did the other half. So thrilled that this works. I will have to paint the table to hide the gray but the table's been painted many times throughout the years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Saved my son (and me) from getting yelled at
Reviewed in the United States on 7 November 2019
We have some very nice table lamps that my wife adores.

One day, my son and I were hosting around in the bedroom with a football, you see where this is going...

The ball landed on top of the lamp shade and snapped 3 of the 4 supporting wire rods. Causing the shade to sag pathetically.

We tried crazy glue, elmers glue, check we even got out the soldering iron, we just couldn't reattach those rods.

So Amazon to the rescue. I propped the shade against the wall with some strategically placed tape and waited for my next day shipment.

I had the three rods back in place in five minutes. It bonded immediately and hardened quickly into something strong enough to hold the lampshade's weight despite the 3 clean breaks.

I could probably sand them down and repaint, but because the fix is in the inside, my wife hasn't noticed yet. So I'm just gonna leave it for now, and chalk it up as a win.
