(P.S. it does not come with a splitter or USB adapter if you want to use it for PC. I've found that a USB converter works better!)

Don't likes: Braided cords, these generate a little bit of rubbing sound. Removable and fixed-position microphone, I would rather have a folding microphone for storage when not in used, and removable means it can get lost. The next model up has a folding microphone but costs twice as much and the microphone audio is poor, and at $90 I'm sure I can find something way better. Splitter not included, no big deal, I bought a splitter for an extra $6, but considering even my other cheap $20 headset came with a splitter.
Final verdict: OK to use, will keep it. Not real value for money at $40 plus having to buy the splitter separately. Comparing it to my $20 headset, the only thing better is the wearing comfort, and no improvement in audio at all. I would value this one at maybe $25-$30 max. I have another headset that I paid $50 for and it's like 10 times better, unfortunately it's no longer available. For this price range, keep looking, you may find something much better.
PS. The connecting hinges for the headphones, allowing them to turn flat, are not a clever feature but are actually the weak link in the design. Very flimsy, and will the first thing to break.
Update: Ended up returning this headset after one week. They stopped working, very faint voice from the people I talked to even at max volume. I was told lots of static from my microphone. I verified there is nothing wrong with my connection, as I switched back to my backup cheap headset and that works better.

My last three headphones have been HyperX Cloud that sell for around $60. With my heavy usage they tend to lose one side of audio after about a 1.5 to 2 years. Well sure enough one side went out in my Hyper X clouds which lead me to go on to Amazon to get a replacement. The search on Amazon did not lead me to finding a replacement but instead showed me overpriced versions of the HyperX headsets. I saw that these JBL headphones had good ratings and decided to try them out.
Compared to to the HyperX Clouds the JBL headphones are just plain bad. They are light and plasticy with a $10 throwaway headphone feel. They squeeze the head uncomfortably tight. The sound is weaker flatter and lacks fullness of my old headphones. They do a terrible job of isolating ambient sound around the room. This alone is enough to make me never use these again. Practically no bass, just a cheap mid range sound.
I put them on and couldn't believe how much of a variance in quality there was between the HypexCloud and these JBL headphones. There is a $20 difference in cost but it literally sounds and feels like a $300 difference.
After using for a few hours today, I immediately ordered the HyperX Cloud base model for $60 and I am reluctant to ever try a JBL product again.
