I've also learnt that this is different from a pair of noise-cancelling headphones, which isolates noise during an audio playback but does nothing when it comes to mics.
Delivery took all of three days, and unboxing and set-up took 10 minutes. The device was partially charged, and took about an hour to charge fully. It is currently connected to two mobile devices. It's been 3 hours and so far I have taken two calls with renovation works in the background. And yet, I could hear the speakers very well, and I could also be heard clearly. The buttons were instinctive to find, and the headpiece itself is light with a reasonable hug around the head. When not used for calls, the sound quality when playing music is just as good - balanced with a touch of base, which I love.
Again, I am not exactly hot for the price, but this will definitely make work calls from home far more pleasant.

- Multiple device support (concurrently)
- Long range
- All day battery life
and the list goes on. While the range is really good, the rest of the features don't seem to live up to the hype.
I use this with Slack calling and Skype (not Skype for Business). The trouble is that neither of these qualify as a supported "soft phone" with Jabra, so even though the headset suffers from occasional dropouts (rebooting the base fixes the problem for a while), tech support can't help me because I'm using it with unsupported software. This is a freaking USB device that I'm using for audio only. I'm not trying to do call control or any advance feature - I just want the thing to maintain a connection when I'm using it. It will drop out (both mic and speaker) for 2-3 seconds repeatedly, even though the headset is less than 3 feet from the base. Fail.
The device claims "all day" battery life. I'm not sure how long the workdays are at Jabra, but this thing shows less than 50% charge after 3 hours on the phone. I've never let it get all the way down to the point where I'd risk a call dropping with a dead battery, but either the battery gauge is off or it lasts 6-7 hours tops.
Lastly, I haven't been able to get the headset to pair with my phone with the base station not involved. For example, if I want to hop in the car with just my phone and the headset - this config is allegedly supported - I can't get it to work for me.
The audio quality seems really good, it's comfortable, and the range is excellent. I wish the rest of the features were in line with the premium price point.
BUT this "Convertible" headset is just VERY uncomfortable (I'm not the only review to mention this, but I didn't believe them... you should! And yes I watched the video on how to wear it and tried all the attachments, etc). The fundamental problem is that the earpiece "cushion" is a piece of (semi-soft, but not soft enough) PLASTIC. On the GN9330 it was a piece of "fabric" with foam under it. Yes, after years of daily use it's starting to flake a little on that headset, but IT IS STILL SOFT. Put bluntly the plastic earpiece on this new model is just plain too-hard and it hurts your ear after about 30 min of use.
So here's what I did. I returned this one and bought the Jabra Engage 75 Mono Wireless Professional UC Headset, this "Mono Wireless" one has a bigger "ear piece" that while a little too large, and sort of dorky looking, has an actual "foam" earpiece and is NIGHT AND DAY more comfortable than the "Convertible" one. But it has the same electronic guts, base, feature set, etc. That one I'll be leaving a 5 star review for!
The Engage 65 took some time to setup, requiring a call to tech support due to lack of instructions. Also required a firmware update using Jabra Direct.
While this is a good headset, shortly thereafter I discovered Sennheiser SDPro. The Senn feels much more substantial, where the Engage is kind of flimsy feeling. The Senn has a much heavier base also. However, the Senn requires switching between computer and phone, the Engage does not.'
Edit: I have been using the Engage 65 for a several weeks now. Loving them!! Changed rating to a 5 start. Its great to be able to switch between desk phone and laptop without flipping switches, disconnecting cables, etc.
Edit 2: These are NOT advertised a noise canceling headsets. Although, they do pretty well in blocking ambient noise. I have now tried the Mono version and Engage 75....both very good for what they are intended for.
The speaker on the headset is great and I can hear everyone really clearly. It's also really comfortable, can be docked really easily, and battery lasts all day. It would be the perfect headset if only it had a better mic. Shame. Would not recommend this product.
