4.0 out of 5 stars Picture of all the blocks included

The description and picture left it unclear as to what all 60 blocks would looked like. I was hoping I would receive three sets of the blocks pictured. I wanted to leave a review with a picture to help future buyers. I’m still happy with the blocks. Good price. The kids love them. We did not have a toxin smell. Overall, very happy!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the same size as older unit blocks.

These are NOT the same size as unit blocks found elsewhere. I bought blocks some 25 years ago from Learning World that were called unit blocks. If the children try to build a road the cars wouldn't stay on because of the bumps created from switching from one kind to the other. This size difference also would cause balance issues.

1.0 out of 5 stars Chipped Splintered blocks TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Reviewed in the United States on 18 December 2020
TLDR: My set arrived with a bunch of splintered and chipped blocks and kidkraft customer service was a nightmare to deal with so I eventually just had to return through Amazon. It's also worth noting that this is not a "unit" set, many blocks do not stack well with the others.
The long version:
When I noticed the splintered blocks I thought, no big deal, I'll contact customer service since there is a paper included with the blocks requesting that consumers contact customer service with any issues. I go to the indicated website where it looks like they will provide you with quick replacement parts, so I filled in all the requested information, name, address, purchase date, uploaded proof of purchase, batch number, photos of proof of damaged, it actually took a while to fill it out all out, and even then I wondered if I was waiting my time for something as silly as building blocks. Click submit and then I'm just automatically directed to email customer service. Ug, ok. So I send an email with all the requested information again, and a few days later I get an email back that looked like they hadn't even taken a glance at it as they literally just sent what seemed like an automatic reply requesting all the same information again. I send it again. Someone finally responds just to say that the blocks don't look like blocks in they're set. I just have to shrug, that's what I was sent and it was clearly packaged and sent by kidkraft (the blocks in question are wedged shaped, and do appear in the product photos). Anyway, they ask for more photos and for the item numbers. I explain that my set didn't come with a manual with individual item numbers for different blocks and my blocks don't have numbers on them. I have no way of knowing what's supposed to be included other than 60 pieces of wood, lol. (And also, even if it were included, who has the time to sort through 60 blocks matching each one with an item number to figure out what one is what!? And delicately photographing the splinters and chips on each piece, no thank you). Even if I wanted to waste my time matching wooden blocks and item numbers, customer service never sent me the mysterious missing manual, so I couldn't even if I wanted to. Every time I said there wasn't anything in the box indicating the item numbers, they just referred me to the "included manual". Well it wasn't included.

I tried to give the company a chance, as the item is directly from them, and it seems like a waist to be shipping a bunch of blocks back and forth, but at some point it really becomes a waste of time. Their customer service is really not interested in fixing problems, so I have no idea why they request that you contact them. I would NOT suggest contacting them unless you want a royal waist of time.

It's worth spending a few more bucks on another set. Like really, don't do down this path!
