CQC is an extremely versatile Performance Thumbstick that adds only 6.1mm of height to your OEM sticks. It was designed for close-quarters combat to provide optimal control and grip in first-person shooters but works well for any game or scenario. FPS Freek CQC was designed for hyper-aggressive, rush-type players who like to be the first to the objective. FPS Freek CQC's concave thumb surface is built for excellent comfort, grip and control. The 6.1mm of height added by CQC creates a nearly seamless feel for those looking for big results but prefer less adjustment time. CQC is also perfect for younger gamers or those with hands on the smaller side. CQC helps increase all-around accuracy, too, so it will surely help you get the most out of short-to-mid range munitions like shotguns and subs.

No reason to go too in depth here. The product is exactly what I thought they'd be and I didn't want to spend a fortune to augment my controllers. The rubber cover on a couple of the sticks was degrading to the point where it was something I constantly felt. I also was starting to rub my thumb a bit to the point where playing was a bit uncomfortable after a longer gaming session. I purchased these to give new life to the control sticks and they did the job reasonably well.
They snap over the existing rubberized sticks and are relatively firmly attached, though my daughter has complained that she can pop them off on occasion. This has not occurred for me yet. I was hoping they'd be a little bit more comfortable than the original rubberized sticks but that hasn't bee the case. They now sit up a couple millimeters higher which doesn't cause a problem and they have a little bit of texture to them with little 'bumps' to help increase control/grip.
Overall, they are well worth the price and certainly better than getting a new controller. There just wasn't a huge increase in the comfort factor to me but I'd still purchase these again, and will, for my other controller now that I've tried them.
If you tilt the sticks up and to the side (northwest for left stick, northeast for right stick), and one of the clips is in that direction, it will cut off your ability to tilt the stick fully.
The only way to get the full range of motion is to make sure the cap is positioned so its peg connectors don't interfere with the plastic housing surrounding the analog stick. Sounds simple, besides the fact the caps can freely rotate, so they'll constantly be turning without you being aware until your range of motion ingame suddenly halves and screws you up.
For something that boasts 'increased accuracy' and 'competitive advantage', it sure has a significant disadvantage.
In the year that I've owned them, it's only pissed me off the more it happens, and the material on the caps has worn down to be sticky (and probably coming off at microscopic levels). I still use it because it is better than the bare horrific PS4 sticks, but until this problem is remedied by a design change, I don't recommend wasting your money on a product that should only cost $2.
If you buy taller grips instead of these your sensitivity will feel EVEN SLOWER so be warned. You will also have trouble moving your thumb from the analogue stick to buttons quickly with taller ones. The CQC is the way to go.
