I do a lot of letter writing. This has proven to be just perfect. It is easy to handle and does the job. I like the pen holder and can use the strap to help keep papers in place. This is so nice that I bought one for a friend of mine. Great gift for a letter writer.

The “bean bag” part of the desk was so small. I was expecting something larger & thicker. Something I could use on the couch & set on my lap & work on. This wasn’t it, I found myself using my decorative couch pillow under it as well, which was exactly what I was trying to get out of the habit of using! I also had to prop my hand under my iPad to hold it up higher because it did not add enough height to be able to comfortably take notes on my IPad Pro 2021.

The desk portion is pretty small too. The only thing I could fit on it was my 12.9” iPad Pro. The little bar at the bottom prevents you from tilting your device at an angle, & if you’re used to writing notes with your notebook turned it’s virtually impossible to use this desk for writing. The cellphone holder portion is cool but inconvenient. Due to the deep-ness you cannot use your phone while it’s propped in the stand because you cannot reach the bottom to swipe up it type. I have since returned this item.
