Why is Worcestershire sauce a great buy? It packs a ton of flavor in a very few calories! As someone who calorie counts (and every calorie matters!), it is very important to find foods and flavoring that you love while still meeting your calorie goals! For me, this is different types of hot sauces are generally the only options are the caloric content is low. However, Worcestershire sauce still has very low calories while still have a lot of flavor! It’s a really nice change up from all the spicyness. I do wish it was somewhat thicker, and I also wish the price was slightly lower. Currently it is $4 for this compared to about $1 for some other hot sauces. While I will not be using this nearly as much as hot sauces due to cost, it is a great “change up” sauce. On regular days, I use it on chicken and fish. But it is even better on cheat days - my favorite use is burgers. Definitely recommended, even for those on a diet! While something like ranch may not be possible, Worcestershire sauce will still be a great sauce for meeting your weight loss goals!
Note: who is this diet/fitness guy? Follow these simple rules to lose those extra pounds!
#1 Discipline and Consistency - Necessary in everything you do if you want continued success.
#2) Honesty - be honest with yourself and your goals. What do you want most? To look and feel good or have that extra slice of pizza or serving of ice cream? There is no shortcut, you gotta earn it, but its also what is most rewarding.
#3 Nutrition - Macro Counting; if you eat the proper amount of calories per day, you WILL lose weight. this is fact. (remember #1 above, be consistent; start with your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), subtract 200-500 calories per day and and eating at those calories 2 weeks. If dont see progress, reduce calories by 100-200 and check again in 2 weeks. if you still dont see progress, your calorie intake is most likely too high (you're underestimating your food intake!)
#4 Resistance Training - (this is what makes you look ripped!) after all that dieting, your muscles will POP. when training give it 110% for each and every rep. my fav starter program is Blaha's Ice Cream Fitness program. Also major love for athelanx on youtube. keep increasing those weights, make every rep count, force your body to do something it's not comfortable doing and you wont be disappointed.
#5 Supplements - (optional!) optional, but if you are resistance training, supplements can ensure your body has everything it needs to grow and repair itself.
