OVERALL DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. Getting a replacement won't work.

Okay, so this is the second time I've bought this...

It worked great the first week, but then the lights shut off WELL before the "20 minutes of light". We have it set to SILENT but we click the red button twice so that it does the little light show on the ceiling of our kids' room for 20 minutes. Just like the first one I bought (not from amazon), it would shut off after about 60 seconds.

Again, just like with the first one, I replaced the batteries to no avail. The first lamp had fallen from about 8 inches height on tile floor. I had thought that might have been the cause for the first one to do this, but this one, we made sure was SECURE and has not fallen at all in the short time we've had it. So obviously this is just an overall defective product. I don't want to waste more money and try it a 3rd time since I can clearly see from other reviews that I'm not alone.

Our son (3years) loves to play the 10mins songs then goes to bed 5mins after, in his room! Big success in our house. Did need to change the batteries within 2 weeks. Hoping it is just because the batteries it came with did not have a full charge. But it gets used everyday. So glad we purchased it. The music is not annoying and he learned the songs with in a few listens. The red light is great and not to bright the other colors are brighter then I would have liked for a night time assistant but it works.
Has option for no sound, low, and high which is something us parents can really appreciate. Also comes with music option, soft noise option, nature options in 10, 20, 30 min.
First-time parents would be helpful to put AA, AAA, rechargeable batteries on Baby Registry. This Christmas has us going through so many batteries it's getting out of hand. Next Amazon purchase is for rechargeable ones :)

Loud but she loves it

Leapfrog... why such loud volumes :/ . Even on the low setting it's too much. I taped over 4 times and have to cover it with a small blanket. But besides that my daughter adores this light! She loves to see the rockets and numbers. Wish the planets projected bigger. But overall it was a good purchase! I hope you make different lights- maybe one with animal shapes next

Update:: so now after playing a lullaby it gets stuck in this loop which of course if annoying to have to go back in and shut it off. We previous had the mini Violet and scout lullabys dogs
and they did something similar so was hoping this product would have no issues

Bought this for my 3 year old who suddenly developed a fear of the dark and his current nightlights were not cutting it. He loves it so far! He has carried it around telling us it is his "special light" so he won't be afraid of the dark anymore. The light is easy to use unassisted. I had to show my son twice how to choose lullaby vs solar sounds vs environmental sounds but now he gets it. He isn't a huge fan of the solar or environmental sounds but he does like the lullaby option a lot. The regular mode uses the picture of the planets to teach while in use. My son has enjoyed shining it on the wall and pointing to planets while he is learning about the different planets/colors of planets. I'm not super impressed with the flashlight mode since it really is just a projection of the planets. It does not provide a ton of light but that doesn't seem to bother my son. The numbers, stars projection are by far the biggest hit with him. He loves showing us them lighting up. It definitely helped him get to sleep so that's a win in my book!

Why oh why would you make a "lullaby" flashlight that plays loud enough to deafen young tender ears?? I really want to like this, it's cute, it seems fun and entertaining but I can't stand the loud volume. I can hear the "low" volume on the other side of the house. My kid doesn't need that in his ear next to his pillow. Horrible. Really sad that we can't find a lullaby player for night time.
