2.0 out of 5 stars Not very impressed

I wanted to like this game. It’s labled for 18+ months. My daughter is 30 months, or 2.5 years old. She knows colors and we’re starting to learn shapes and she’s dinosaur obsessed so I thought how perfect this is. A few things, when all the eggs are out it’s impossible to know what color egg to put in which hold unless you match the Dino to the shape first. Another thing, is it’s so hard to get the top of the egg onto the bottom of the egg. It’s even hard for me to do it. I’ve been in Early Childhood Education for several years, and I just cannot recommend this game for 18 month olds or even 2 year olds. It’s so cute, but I just can’t recommend it

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and educational!
Reviewed in the United States on 18 January 2021
This is already one of my son's favorite toys. I love how unique, and versatile this toy is compared to other shape sorters. It is teaching him about shapes, colors, doing things in order, and different types of dinosaurs. Each dinosaur has a shape on the bottom, and matches the color of its egg. The bottom halves of the eggs have holes, so you have to place them on the base first, and then the dinosaur. This product facilitates fine motor skills, and makes a great challenge if your little one has mastered a typical shape sorter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun sorting set for young kids!

This is the perfect sorting set for young kids. My 3 yr old and 5 yr old love this so far! They love to play pretend with it and trade baby dinos, and my 3 year old loves to count them.
