Buy 2 sets!
30 March 2017 -
Published on Amazon.comStyle Name: LettersVerified Purchase
After reading other reviews, I bought 2 sets for my son. I know how he wants the alphabet all lined up and would like just half of it done. I took plain nail polish remover to take the letters off one side. The nail polish remover took the letters off very easily and did not take the color out of the popsicle. I think we are going to buy some number stickers for the other side.

Defective and Double Sided
11 July 2020 -
Published on Amazon.comStyle Name: LettersVerified Purchase
Really disliked that product does not indicate these popsicles are double sided which makes the process a bit confusing. You can go all the way until “L” before having to turn over Aa Bb Cc and so forth in order to complete the alphabet. Additionally, I received defective product. K and X were printed wrong, making this completely useless. I threw away packaging and don’t feel right returning it that way. So each time we play I have to explain that the toy is broken and teach child the correct pairing K and k not K and X

Younger toddlers will need some guidance
16 October 2017 -
Published on Amazon.comStyle Name: LettersVerified Purchase
My two year old daughter and I both like this toy, but it isn’t entirely perfect. As some reviewers have mentioned, there are thirteen pairs of popsicles, not twenty six. Letters are printed on both sides, not just one. I personally am ok with that. At the age of two, my daughter is going to need me playing with her with a learning toy, so that I can say the name of each letter out loud and show her the match. Learning toys require an enthusiastic teacher to get the ball rolling!
She cannot push the popsicles together yet either. Fitting the pieces together takes more pressure than she can manage, so that’s a star off.
Still, these are brightly colored, and she likes to play with them on her own in her play kitchen. We can use them to play color finding and sorting games, and we can use them to work on letter recognition as well.
Great toy, in my opinion. A toddler needs plenty of free play, but learning games with an adult are important too. This toy is wonderful for that purpose.
(I keep this set in a little plastic tub from the dollar store in her play kitchen)

Awesome! Extremely durable and fun!

Not sure what some of the other reviewers are talking about when they say that these toys are "poorly made". I bought these at a local teacher supply store and am so glad I did! I have four girls ranging in age from two to twelve and they all play with these. I've had these pops now for almost five years and have never had a problem with them. There are no small parts, no paint pealed or scratched. They can slam these around (and they have for years) and it has absolutely no effect whatsoever on the over all product. I would encourage you to keep the plastic container they come in as we lost ours somewhere and I wish we hadn't as that's how we store them. (The container shown in the photo is not the one they came in, it's just another we had on hand, and I decided to use it for these.)
The kids can play with these as play foods. They can be tricky to snap together or pull apart, but that doesn't bother us. The older kids help the younger. The only issue we've ever had is that they've been taken out into the yard and left outside a few days. The sun can discolor them in such case, but that's our fault, not the product. Also, for some reason ours have gotten dirty and sticky. They are easy to wipe off or rinse in the sink.
Helpful for kids learning upper and lower case. Each set of two pops also has another letter on the back (which can confuse the very young. ) Over all a cute and good quality fun toy.
I did not get paid to write this, it's a real review and I paid my own money for the toys.

Good set but multiple letters on each pop
1 March 2016 -
Published on Amazon.comStyle Name: LettersVerified Purchase
My son loves this pop set, they are fun and colorful and a great way to teach both upper and lower case letters. Most alphabet toys on the market focus on either just upper case or just lower case. I would love to give the product 5 stars but there is one main reason I can not. . . .There is a different letter on each side of the pop. So like Aa and on the back is Tt so it can be very confusing to kids just starting to learn there abcs. I knew this would frustrate my son so I purchased two sets and removed the letters from the back with nailpolish remover until I had twenty six pop pairs with only one letter. It was more costly but my son loves the set.
