I went to Cape Cod for a vacation and forgot to pack shampoo and conditioner. I went to a hair salon to get some, and the beauty consultant looked serious and handed me this product. She'd observed how frizzled my hair was from the damp sea air.

I tried the shampoo and conditioner, and I have to admit, my hair never looked better. My curls resisted the humidity for days. They didn't go to frizz. So when I got home I ordered more from Amazon. I continue to get good results. I’m not sure if the shampoo or the conditioner is responsible for the miracle, so I use both.

Amazon's price is a lot lower than the inflated prices on the Cape.

The scent of both shampoo and conditioner is very light and pleasant. And a little of both products is all that's needed.

Every hair type is different. I get that. But this shampoo is supposed to help my curly hair not be frizzy. To "weightlessly stop humidity". Every "best shampoos to fight frizz" list noted this shampoo as being one of the best at doing that. It does not. What it did do is make my hair puffier and frizzier and dryer than $3 shampoo and conditioner. After four nights of using it, I look like Hagrid. This stuff is the equivalent to what you get for free in a hotel, but at a hair salon price.

PROS:
Smells like heaven (although some reviewers don't agree)
A tiny drop cleans my whole scalp (I order a bottle 4-6 months)
In combination with the conditioner and finishing cream, I get primo results at much less $ than a keratin treatment
Recyclable container
CONS:
Looks the same as the conditioner, so I have to put a big "S" on the lid
Some people don't like the smell
It works best with consistency, so I always have to travel with it

My Favorite shampoo!

This is my go to shampoo always, I have been using Living Proof products for over a year now and I would highly recommend their products.
I have very long hair (below my waist) and people will stop me and ask what I use on my hair which I highly recommend LP. I have tried many other expensive shampoos and conditioners but this shampoo always gives me good results on my hair. It does not leave a build-up or film of product on your hair like a lot of other shampoos and will not weigh your hair down either.
It really does what it says "keeps your hair cleaner longer" especially when used with the 5-1 treatment or the nourishing styling cream (I slightly prefer the nourishing styling cream over the 5-1 though). My hair would be naturally curly but due to the length and weight it is straight with some wave/curl to the shorter hairs. This shampoo works excellent to keep the "Frizz" down from the shorter hairs.

I love this product so much I’ve been using it for over 10 years. It controls frizz and what I like most is it keeps your hair cleaner longer. I wasn’t too happy with this shipment due to the fact it leaked all over as you can see in the pics so I’m glad it was in a bag. I’ve bought it many times from different sellers and it always comes with tape over the top even in a bag so they may want to start doing that here as about 1/3 of it is in the bag.
