The keyboard is very well built and looks very nice on the desk. I did not have any issues with the condition of the key caps (finish) or the wireless connection. I was very disappointed in the wobble of the keys when typing or gaming.
The key caps on my unit can tilt to the point you actually feel the tactile bump, but no key press is registered. Pressing the edges of the keys resulted in around a 4 in 10 chance where the key would not register my press when typing.
I am not a professional typist by any means - but I do type a fair bit. I have never had a keyboard (mechanical, dome switch etc..) where I had to press directly on the center of the key for a reliable actuation / register of the key press.
I really wanted to like the keyboard, but for the price - I just couldn't justify keeping it.
The form factor is nice. Coming from a full-size keyboard I find I'm still reaching for the num-pad occasionally but the extra for my mouse space is great. The thin casing would be fantastic for a portable setup.
The switches leave something to be desired. These are definitely not cherries and feel closer to a laptop keyboard. I'm hoping they loosen up over time. That's not to say the switches are bad, just not what I was expecting or hoping for feel-wise.
The Logitech G HUB software is far improved over the old gaming software (which was absolute garbage). I have not had any issues so far besides a minor integration issue with Discord which was resolved by reinstalling G HUB and setting up the integration again. If you don't dismiss the integration prompt the first time, you won't run into this issue.
Overall, I love it. I will get used to the key switches and I expect the battery life to decline eventually but so far it's been a great sidegrade to my Corsair K95 RGB (which I now use on my work PC).
The G915 TKL is a premium keyboard, sturdy, heavy, extremely well made. The keycaps feel a little cheap and they should probably be replaced when some better ones show up in the market. It seems like Logitech licensed/contracted a mechanical keyboard manufacturer for the G915.
I got a low profile keyboard to reduce wrist strain and since a type fast and like a short travel distance. My experience with mechanical keyboards was that I would make errors because the travel distance was too long. I was hoping that a low profile would fix the problem but sadly it didn't. Maybe I'm just used to crappy laptop keyboards.
The MX Keys is a full keyboard and my G915 is my TLK for now (Logitech MX Keys TKL please~).
Also, this can be used as a Wired keyboard as well.
The built in software sucks and unfriendly, and I had to use onboard memory instead. Also black attracts dust. If I can buy again, I'd consider the white version.
