G305 is a Lightspeed wireless gaming mouse designed for serious performance with latest technology innovations at an affordable price point. HERO is a revolutionary new optical sensor designed by Logitech G to deliver class-leading performance and up to 10 times the power efficiency (compared to previous gen). HERO sensor delivers exceptionally accurate and consistent performance with zero smoothing, filtering or acceleration from 200 to 12,000 DPI. G304 can save up to 5 profiles with up to 5 DPI levels each on the onboard memory. Through end-to-end engineering and design, Logitech G developed a robust wireless solution to solve the fundamental problems of latency, stability, and connectivity. The end result is Lightspeed, a pro-grade wireless solution that achieves wired-like performance. HERO sensor and Lightspeed wireless deliver extreme efficiency to let you game for months. It delivers up to 250 hours run-to-die on just one AA battery. It can be adjusted to last up to 9 months of typical use in Endurance mode, which can be selected via Logitech G HUB.3Tested on Logitech G240 Gaming Mouse Pad Logitech G HUB, as well as the indicator light on G304, will notify you when 15% of battery remains. At Logitech G, a wireless gaming mouse doesn’t need to be heavy. G304 is very light, coming in at only 99 grams, made possible thanks to the lightweight mechanical design and ultra-efficient battery usage. Available in Black colour.

The G304/G305 mouse is small, lightweight and perfect for claw and claw/palm hybrid grips. My hand is 18 cm and it is perfect for me.
My only complaint is the buttons. Especially thumb buttons could have been bigger with more tactile feedback. But they are least used generally so not reducing any stars for that.
I have set polling rate to 500Hz and 1000 DPI in Logitech. In CS GO, in-game sens 1.0 - it has definitely improved my experience. It is a must buy for people who look for affordable wireless gamin mice that perform well in FPS.
Update 11 March 2020. The left mouse button now double clicks every few clicks. I guess this mouse cannot be trusted after one year, and considering the price, I can now say dont buy it. I am not recommending it.
Don't use the included AA battery, instead get a rechargeable AAA battery and use aluminium foil ball to fit it. That hack brings down the overall weight of the mouse from 97 to 87 gm.
Great shape and feel and size. All the buttons are very responsive. No lag at all.

Its having different sensor than G102/G203 which use Hero 6k, i guess its just the DPI can't confirm, but i can confirm that its much more responsive than G102 from my experience.
Highly recommend for Hardcore FPS gaming!
Weight: 98G with battery
Sensor: Hero 12K which is close to pixart PWM 3366 (200 to 12000 DPI) with 400 in/sec.
Consumes less power compared to 3366
Accuracy: Super aceturate
Design: pretty much similar to G102/G203 and Gpro (Wired)
Battery life: The best in market last for very long time.
Comes with Lightspeed dongle. :D
Dimension: 116x62x38, which is compact and good for small to medium hand users.
Weight: The Distribution is not that great if you lift the mouse often.
USB: No usb connection to use as wired connection (prevention from exploding battery?)
Build: Plastic but cant complaint for the price.
Update: I can see some comments saying their mouse is not working so that the model if flawed. I am using it for 2 years, SO FAR ALL GOOD. I had the click issue with my G403 which is a top mouse. The quality depends on how you use and some factor of your PC, like over voltage, dust collection and static build up.
All logitech mouse use omron switches on gaming line up as far as i know.
my left click stopped holding after 11 months and failed not long after.
Its a shame as it really is a good mouse in all other regards.
Everything else about this mouse is good.
Great tracking, essentially perfect sensor, lightweight. You can remove the battery lid and play for an even lighter experience.
Perhaps you can risk it and go for it as reliable options for wireless mice are sparse, but keep all your documentation handy and register the mouse on the website asap.
One option I'm considering is ordering an omron Japan switch (this has a Chinese one) and solder it myself. This isn't something you should have to do for less than a year of owning a gaming mouse meant for rough use from a reputable company like Logitech.
