Coming from Razor, Zowie FK2, I have to say this is probably one of the best mouse I've used. Pros -Long battery life, I use the mouse daily for at least 8-15 hours, bought this around July 8th, its the 17th of August and I've charged the mouse Twice to full! -Accurate tracking w/ FPS Games(I play Apex, Valorant, CS etc) , true to the description of 1ms. No difference between a wired mouse. one of the lightest mouse I've used in my life, it glides like you're on cloud9. -Never owned any other Logitech mouse, but from what I can tell the mouse is built fairly well, no complaint so far. Will change this description if i get to try another Logitech mouse or if it breaks down. -Can be used left or right handed! -it is about 30-50$ more expensive than some of the other top mouse such as BenQ Zowie FK2 series which is around 70$, but well worth the price for no wire and fully customize mouse.
Con -Mouse reel is little bit wobbly, but unlocking it makes it feel smooth, its only in the lock position does the mouse reel feel a little weird and wobbly, but not very noticeable when you're gaming. -Apparently there is a double click problem after few months of use, I heavily abuse my left click cause I am a FPS/MMO player, will report back and change my rating if this occurs. -Some say the Logitech G hub is buggy, but the G903 can't be detected on the older Logitech gaming software which is a shame, but so far I've not ran into any problem using G hub, and its fairly easy, straight forward to use.
Debunk some negative reviews I see people have on here -I would say this mouse is made to fit many different hand shape, its just matter of to your taste, even a smaller hand can use this mouse as you can left/right click on many different angles because how the left/right button is built. I have Medium sized hand and this fits in my hand perfectly. -left and right click sound different? Yes they do, slightly, but who here actually is able to hear your left and right click when you're blasting music or playing video game?
At the end of the day, if you got some extra cash laying around, want a nice wireless mouse with super long battery life, then go for it, otherwise maybe pick up Zowie FK2 or other similiar Zowie mouse as they are as good as the G903.
This is supposed to be the latest refresh of the G903. The one with 180hrs of battery life with RGB lights off. Fully charged this mouse has 32hours battery life. It seems this is not the latest version of the mouse but the older version with the crappy battery in it.
Confirmed the WRONG iteration of this product was shipped to me. You're charging for the NEW version of the G903 with a greater price but sending customers the old one. Awful experience. BUYERS BEWARE.
I am a right-handed person, the ambidextrous design bothers some people, but I find it comfortable.
I use the thumb buttons for push-to-talk(PTT), one for in-game PTT, other for discord, etc, PTT. Don't bother trying to use the buttons opposite to your thumb side(at least not for gaming), it's a very awkward reach. Hyperscroll is very good for websites, the non-hyperscroll is very tactile and suitable for gaming. DPI changer is fine, but I don't really use it often. No latency. Apparently, it's supposed to be faster than wired, but honestly you can't tell the difference. Sensors are technically supposed to be more accurate than the old model, not really humanly discernible considering how accurate sensors are nowadays.
I'm an original G903 owner, so the rest of the review will be in comparison to the old version of the G903, which, in my opinion, was the best mouse.
Snagged this for $150, $50 cheaper than what I paid for the original G903 when it first came out.
Please take into account the fact that I have lighting disabled, it really adds nothing to the experience. I'm leaving this review because it arrived at half charge and after two weeks of non-stop usage, the battery finally went down to 3 percent. Charge is really fast too. After about a minute, the battery went to 20%. Amazing.
Low battery indicator is not obnoxious like it is on the old G903. The old model would flash red and would be really distracting, the new model is more like a fade in and out really slowly, so it's not annoying the crap out of me.
Icons in the logitech software still don't load properly, however, a reinstall which I am too lazy to do might fix it, regardless, everything is still functional in it. The UI doesn't look like it was designed a decade ago, which is a plus I guess.
Don't get the powerplay mat, it's pointless when the battery life is this good. Just charge it once a month while you're watching a TV show episode, and you're good. Off switch is pretty pointless considering it has a seamless auto-sleep function, only necessary for travelling.
DONT BUY THIS MOUSE. I bought like 4 of them now and they all broke within 3 months of purchase. The left click will gradually start to double click. They use cheap parts from china or something. Logitech, this is unacceptable.
Cons: - Bad Ergonomic, this mouse is intended for people with very large hands (F1~F11 the minimum) - I don't know if it's only my unit but left & right click sounds different - I thought I could get used to it, but I will be just returning mine - If you are going to buy this mouse, try it in hands before your purchase - Don't forget that this mouse is very heavy too!!
Really im sad to return it cause on paper its an amazing mouse... But ive got some massive connection issue either on Bluetooth or lightspeed. The mouse would disconect when player hunt showdown or league of legends and it can be a bit frustrating. For 150$ its not forgivable. The shape is a bit weird. Ive got big Hands the mouse feel very long its weird to explain ahha like a big cockroach. The battery life is insane tho. Sill i would not recommend this mouse because the Price is way to hight for a product that disconnect time to Time. I am going back to a wired G502 hero SE after trting the Razer wirless and the g903. Both had connection issue
Its works way better than my old M510. Great sensor precision and I like that the center wheel in free mode. My only complaints are that the PowerCore to wirelessly charge the mouse isn't included so you can't wirelessly charge the mouse with your existing Qi chargers. You are forced to buy the PowerPlay mouse pad to get the PowerCore. Also Logitech G hub isn't compatible with older peripherals. I have a barely used G510 keyboard that cant be used with G hub so must have the legacy LGS (logitech gaming software) app installed in order to control my keyboard parameters and LED. You can't sync RGB LED between LGS and G hub, at least not natively. still looking for a 3rd party solution.
I got the G903 on sale to replace my aging G900. My G900 is still working fine but I wanted the increased battery life on the G903. Although the shell of these mice is identical the newer G903 seems made of cheaper quality components. The scroll wheel was wobbly and didn't have a crisp feel when pressing the wheel mouse down. The right mouse button was extremely sensitive and I managed to press it on several occasions by accident in games. Sadly I decided to return the mouse as its build quality didn't seem to match the G900. Hopefully it was just the particular mouse I received.
