A 3-foot extra heavy duty fiberglass stepladder with a 375 pound capacity now features Louisville exclusive “Pro Top” designed with innovative features to improve the user’s performance when working electrical, utility, heavy construction, and residential jobs. Pro top includes a magnet tray, hardware tray, curved ergonomic front, drill and tool slots, paint bucket holder, and a pipe or 2x4 holder to increase productivity. This ladder includes a “DA” boot, shock absorbing, thick, slip resistant, rubber shoe. Double rivet step construction, each step secured with six large headed, semi-tubular steel rivets for maximum strength. 30% greater shear strength than solid aluminum rivets. Heavy duty reinforcement plates, nonconductive full channel rails are covered with a polyester veil for years of service without fiber prominence or blooming when prolonged exposure to elements is necessary. Extra heavy duty inside spreader braces, extra thick spreader braces located inside of fiberglass rails help protect braces from getting hooked or abused in transit.


Exclusive 'Raptor Top' system includes a magnet tray, hardware tray, curved front, drill and tool slots, paint bucket holder, and pipe or 2x4 holder. When it comes to ladders I never go cheap. Retired after 45 yrs. in construction I appreciate the extra safety and stability of a higher rated ladder. I only weigh 180 lbs but this 375 lb rated ladder is definitely not over kill. You can get up on a type 3 ladder and say "This feels ok. It'll do the job." Then you get on a type 2 and you can feel the difference. And then go up to type 1 and the difference in stability stands out. Value your safety. Don't go cheap on ladders. I'm very satisfied with this one. Louisville is a top name brand.

Fantastic ladder! I love this "little" thing. My crew are generally physically fit, and weigh significantly under 250 pounds each, but we've one taller guy, who still needs a ladder for certain jobs. He's solid muscle (so to speak), and he weighs ab out 225 +/- but the items he carries up the ladder are very heavy, some items weighing about 100 pounds, so it's not just the person's weight, but the items they carry also. He loves this ladder, and asked if I could order one for his own home, of which I will do.

The product is high quality and is really strong. The shipping is a joke. It was loose in a giant cardboard box that was ripped open. As such is was scuffed up and scratched

I kind of expected this off other reviews and don't plan on leaving it in the rain. I would prefer better shipping but the product is high quality and in acceptable condition. It would be 5 stars if it was shipped properly though. Next time wrap cardboard around it tightly and tape it with more than 1 piece of tape. I can't fit this in my car so I had no choice but to order online.

We have vaulted ceilings and the smoke detectors are sky high up the wall. It was a dangerous balancing and reaching act to change the batteries in them on a 6 foot ladder and now that we're both old.. we needed something that was safer. This ladder is the perfect length for this and it's a brand I know and trust. Not too heavy but very sturdy and we both feel very safe on it.

A solid ladder. A bit heavier than the aluminum ladder it replaces but then, it doesn’t seem like it will bend and break like the lighter one it replaces did. Still, if you are just going to be doing interior painting and changing light bulbs and thus don’t need the strength you might consider a lighter ladder that will be easier to handle.

One of the aluminum lock-arms that keeps the ladder from folding when standing is a bit stiff, but other than being mildly annoying it’s not a problem. The ladder is very sturdy and well constructed, and other than noted I haven’t found any quality flaws.

Since others have commented on nicks and scratches on the ladders they received, I will say that I had a few very small marks on mine, which would not have stopped me from choosing it at a store. Mine arrived at my door in a simple cardboard box with no elaborate packing. I must comment that I enjoyed the fact that it arrived at my door. That was much less hassle than going to a store and trying to get the ladder home in my car would have been.
