2. There are 3 phrases repeated 3 times that was just filler space to make the book thicker (or maybe increase the word count).
3. Try reading it out loud and you will understand how clumsy the words and phrasing are.
I can't believe this would be on the NYT bestseller list, much less number 1.
I bought two board books at the same time and read both to my 15month old daughter. She hates this book and will always want me to repeat the other. (btw, its called 'I love you to the moon and back' by Amelia Hepworth)
Don't bother with this book. Buy "I love you to the moon and back", your kids will thank you.

To be honest, I love this book more than our son does right now - he's far more interested in his interactive books at the moment - but I will continue to read it with him as he grows.
It's a heartwarming story with beautiful illustrations - it's prompted me to buy another book illustrated by the same person.
I ordered two copies and one arrived with damage to the cover, which Amazon quickly replaced for us with no issues.
