I have a finished basement with some humidity I wanted to keep in check, which got worse when I had guests showering down there. I picked this unit up expecting to need to empty it every week or so. In 60% humidity and set on "comfort" mode, it'll fill up every 12 hours. 1.6 freaking gallons of water pulled out of fat air in only 12 hours! Amazing how well it works, so now I need to figure out how to plumb it in so I don't have to constantly dump it the hard way. The reservoir isn't too easy to remove or set back in place due to the tight fit, and each gallon is around 7.5 lbs, so consider the weight if you plan to empty it daily. Doesn't bother me, but I wouldn't buy this for my grandma.

Nothing against this product, but I'd like to add a simple way to collect the water and filter it for drinking. I'm dumping water down the drain from this unit, then paying the utility company for water to drink. It would be amazing if I could pull off combining the two. Just something I didn't think of until after the purchase.

I was able to assemble it within 15 minutes without any help from my hubby. Instruction is included makes assembly a breeze. There is a handle with the water bucket so I can dump away the water easily. The bucket is decent size so I don’t think I would need to empty the water every so often in case I am away. The dehumidifier has roller options so I can move it around the house without dragging it across the room. The machine itself is not too heavy anyway. There are illuminating buttons on top of the machine (see pictures) so I can adjust it at night. I put it on comfort mode and run it 24/7 for the past 3 days. I know is working properly because it won’t be on at all time. It just keeping it at the humidity level that I set. Another thing I like about this dehumidifier is that the filter is washable, and it shows you alert when filter needs to be cleaned and if water is full so I don’t need to put out the bucket to check or forgot about emptying it. The machine itself is not too noisy compare to other that I had seen. I am getting another one for the basement too.

I live down in Florida where the daily humidity will creep into every space and feel like you are swimming in a soup bowl for two-thirds of the year. I needed to lower the humidity in my apartment to one, feel better and two, protect my home from moisture damage. To do so, I needed to run this unit around the clock for around 3 weeks and this thing never missed a beat. It was consistent in pulling out buckets and buckets of water out of the air for the whole run. The collection bucket would be full every 6.5 hours or so but, my space was around 75% humidity so I expected this. No issues with the unit appearing stressed or slowing down. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to get higher volumes of moisture out of the air, or for those with larger spaces and lower volumes looking to maintain comfortable levels.

I used this dehumidifier for nearly one week. really surprising, it is very convenient. Just take it out and plug it in, it could work perfectly. Four wheels are equipped at the bottom of it, if you want to move it from one room to the other, even to another house, it is very easy. It has a movable bucket and is easy to take away by just one hand. The bucket is a large capacity, you do not need to empty it often. This dehumidifier has many friendly settings, like comfort/filter, the different settings will provide you different joy. Also, it has an easy timer, really useful!

Efficient, Quiet, Easy to Operate.

This is a really good dehumidifier. It's extremely efficient at its job and it does it with a very low level of noise. Some dehumidifiers can be quite noisy, this has so far been the quietest of its class.

You can attach a general garden hose to drain the water which is very economical as far as replacement and durability. Some dehumidifiers have a special hose that must be used and I have found this can be a bit of a pain to replace. You can also close the gravity drain with a screw on cap that is provided and use the water collection reservoir, which is amply large 1.8 gallons, easy to take in and out and has a flat bottom so you can easily balance the drawer on the floor while you pull it out of the unit; this prevents accidental spills which I have had with other units.
I live in a very humid area and it has to be emptied about twice a day on high with a humidity goal of 45%, my home humidity without it running is 85-90%; I know that's really high isn't it. On a lower setting, using the comfort setting and a low fan speed it has to be emptied once every 36-48+ hours. The comfort setting automatically keeps a balance between heat generation (which is very helpful on hot days and your AC unit is struggling to cool your home) of the machine and a comfortable relative humidity, usually around 50-55%.
I have 2 of these units, one is a 50 pint, the other a 70 pint. The 50 was suitable to dehumidify my 1000 square foot home, I ordered a 70 for my home, which uses a bit more power, because I wanted to use the 50 in my 800 square foot basement. I keep the 70 on a lower comfort auto setting now, the 50 was on an auto maintain 45% humidity in the same space. Even though the 50 uses less electricity overall comparatively to the 70 I have found that they ultimately use about the same amount in the end because the 70 comes on less frequently.

I would, and have, definitely recommend this unit to a friend. I don't recommend many products but this one is truly good enough for me to take time out of my busy day to write this lengthy review. Oh, and the best part, it restarts on its own once power is restored after a power disruption, most just keep the settings and you have to push the power button for it to start up again.
Overall I'd rate this product an A.
