For starters you can't put any more than a few sprigs in, then when you try to pull up the outer plastic part up the sprigs come out and up along with it.
The dividers do not stay in place, and do not necessarily do anything other than be in the way. I say save your money and just put the herbs in a jar or cup with some water, and cover loosely with a plastic bag , that was what I used to do and it works pretty well. i wish I returned it after a couple of failed tries.. it's too late now, I'll just donate it or sell it at a garage sale !
