Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings using a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. The machine learned model takes into account factors including: the age of a review, helpfulness votes by customers and whether the reviews are from verified purchases.
I have bought similar products before and the magnets were much stronger and we could build fancy structures with it. With Magna Tiles, I had expected even more, given that it costs so much. But wow, this is so disappointing. The magnets are not very strong. Pieces fall apart at the slightest push or touch. Maybe it is a 'feature', I am not sure, but my kid was really disappointed as he could not build anything upright
Schools were closed so I bit the bullet and bought this expensive set to keep my 4.5 year old occupied. It’s been almost a month and he’s played with them every single day, all day. Well made and such a good tool to teach him abt physics and geometry. Parents have contacted me asking where I got them. Best toy we’ve bought.
Docking off a star only because one of the pieces arrived a little dented. Not enough to affect its performance, just not perfect.
