I collect pretty much all things Loki and Thor, so I preordered this as soon as it was announced. And, it's a good figure. However, it should have been much better. I love the portrait - a mischievous smile that's perfect for the character. I'm also happy to have a classic comic Loki with the advanced articulation of the current Legends line.

That said, the accessories are just pathetic. One sword and that's it. No additional hands, no magic effects, not even an angry or relaxed face portrait. Just the leg for yet another Hulk build-a-figure. It's so disappointing, especially since the price is the same as other Hasbro Legends figures with many more options. They could have at least given him a fur collar cape..

Regardless, I don't regret the purchase because I love the character and Amazon discounted him before shipping. Still, Hasbro dropped the ball here.

When the party gets crowded, sometimes you have to take it outside....

Nicely packaged had I chosen not to take him out to play. Well articulated and easy to pose. Nicely detailed. Getting his hand open to hold the sword was a bit tricky, but I just warmed the hand up with a hair dryer for ten seconds. Pliable enough after that.

The Left Leg of the Professor

With the MCU’s Avengers Endgame in theaters, Hasbro brings forward another set of action figures for its MCU fans. This collection is not just from the movie but from its own comic books. To be honest, I am not interested in this, I am only interested in the figures from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

So, I cannot honestly rate this figure fairly as only bought this for the Build a Figure accessory. But I bought it so here goes.

Standing above 6.75 inches or 7.25 inches tall if you count the crown, this figure looks okay. But I prefer the look from the movies. I can only presume this is for hardcore Marvel fans to collect. The figure is articulated like most Marvel Legends action figures. Included as an accessory is a sword.

Included also is the Build a Figure accessory for the Professor Hulk figure, the left leg.

The figure is great if you need a Comic Loki to go along with a Comic Thor figure. He doesn’t come with much. Only a sword and a piece for the Hulk BAF. The sword has some very nice detail, but struggles to stay in either hand without falling out of place. The figure is also a very basic body mold. No real texture to it, just some nice paint application to show the scales of Loki’s armor. The headsculp is pretty nice, but I wish that it sat lower on the neck. It sits a bit to high and gives him a super long looking neck. Overall, the figure is alright. It has plenty of issues, but it definitely isn’t an awful Loki.
