Un fondotinta (cerone) di una buon qualità coprente. La consistenza morbida da la truccatrice la possibilità di stendere il prodotto uniformemente! Si lavora benissimo. Un buona tenuta anche sotto temperatura alte.
I ordered the white creamstick and the purple and they were perfect! The purple was a little weirdly greasy and see through but looked perfect with a white base under. It feels weird putting it on, but after smoothing ONE LAYER out with a beauty blender and then setting it, it feels like wearing foundation. Not streaky, looks almost like skin when wearing it! It lasted hours at a hot convention and was definitely worth every penny! So much better than the paradise paint, and snazaroo! First time using it and I’m super setisfied, don’t think I’ll ever go back to water based paints!
I used to sell Theatrical Makeup in a full service costume shop, years ago. We primarily sold Ben Nye, Kryolan, Graftobian, and some Mehron. Recognizing the name, I decided to buy this without hesitation for a geisha makeup look (I generally prefer using Ben Nye Magicake in Cloud White for the most true consistency, but I was in a bind and just needed a quick white foundation). Bad move! Good thing I tested it on myself the day before I met with the client, because there was literally nothing I could have done to achieve an even application.
Brushes and sponges leave streaks behind. It never truly sets with powder. It never dries down, so it is always moveable and constantly ruined on your face and ruining your clothes. You cannot build up opacity, because any further application of product takes the original layer away. I thought maybe I had a bad batch, but one of the models had brought Mehron's Clown White (a thicker product than the creme blend stick, which goes on very smoothly), and had the same results. It's just a bad formula.
Ben Nye creme foundations and Kryolan TV sticks are still a fave, and I would heartily recommend them over this. If you're in a pinch, LA Girl has a white liquid foundation that works like a dream. PLEASE dont waste your money on this.
Used this on my 7 year old and it was perfect. She has sensitive skin so I decided I would spend a little extra on the make-up. I am so glad I went this route. I've used regular run of the mill Halloween products on my older child a couple times and they would leave streak marks. This product by Mehron is fantastic. I used the recommended primer, but the make-up went on so smoothly. There were no streaks or clumps. After I applied the recommended setting powder it was still smooth looking. It didn't leave any creases and the dark eyes stayed on without any bleeding. Used it to cover her skin to a paper white from the entire face to the entire neck area (front to back). It even worked well on the lips (no creases). After being out in the rain for over and hour I was wondering what condition my "Vintage Corpse" would be in. She looked perfect. Exactly the same. The when it cam time to wash it off it wasn't difficult at all, even the dark eyes came off easily. I recommend using this cream for full white make-up, especially if you have sensitive skin.
It's very thick and creamy but easily lifts off and gets pushed around when I'm trying to buff it in, not blending smoothly at all. I had a hard time getting a solid white opaque look. It cakes up way to easily, which feels disgusting, when I tried setting it with mehron colorset powder. I can completely cover my whole face with powder but it just seems to be absorbed by the product, just making it into this thick pasty product that feels disgusting, thick and heavy and crumbles apart. On top of that it just lifts off so easily and gets on EVERYTHING, no amount of powder can set this properly to matify it. You also end up using quite a bit trying to cover and recover everything up that isn't staying. I also have sensitve skin and ended up breaking out afterwards. Possibly the worst non Halloween store face paint I've used. Better off going with Ben Nye cream foundation, krylon tv stick, or mehron paradise aq face paint.
