it's not messy or oil based. it's like a smooth powder. can get really black or slight black. I love how it's powder based so you can make it look like shading under cheek bones, etc. this will last a long time. a little goes a long way.
So I add this on top of a white Mehron clown make up days but the make ups mix, I think that I might have to buy some settler, I’ve never had that problem in the past. I’ve actually bought the little plastic Mehron Water-based paints, and that just took a long time but at least I was able to paint one over the other and it would smear unless I sweat. So hopefully some make up settler can fix this problem. If anybody has any advice let me know! EDIT - JUNE 2020 Now! So basically a little while after I bought this – I just ended up purchasing them a Ron water-based face paints. I think that they are much more easier, at least in my opinion, to use based off of the fact of number one, they do not smear or stain like these ones do, and number two, you can actually paint over the other colors once they’re settled. Not with these. These are almost just literally sick oil that shine and smear. No prejudice, just my opinion.
Not bad! It's not Mac pro paint by any means, but it has a reasonable coverage. It works a lot better than the tubes of white foundation found at walmart and better than the pallet found at stores like party city. I would buy this again but if it is something you need for something important and you want to look amazing, I would splurge on mac water activated pro paint for I think $63, but if like me you just do theatrical makeup to post online or for small local theater productions, this works great!
It stays shiny after you apply it and it stains EVERYTHING, do not put your face on anything or even touch anyone because for sure they will have black on there clothes or face. It’s very oily and I tried to make it matte with a translucent setting powder but it’s too oily, didn’t work.
The white greasepaint was amazing! I set it with the Mehron Setting Powder in neutral and it didn't budge! Now the black greasepaint was good too but it did seem to move more than the white greasepaint (that was before I put on the setting powder to the black)
A bar of soap will remove it if you don't have makeup remover it worked great for me I love grease paint and can't afford the more expensive paints it worked perfect for my Temmie cosplay! I advise you use spray sealent maybe it's just how I applied it but powder just made it patchy and clumpy blech and I think the spray keeps your face feeling lighter than powder
I need this color for an anime cosplay ichigo kurosaki from beach and this worked very well for this reason. I have very dark African American skin and this perfectly got the left side of my face white as a sheet. It did not feel crusty or flaky and lasted the whole day of the con. Very pleased with this purchase and will buy again.
It was a very sheer product, but it blended extremely well. It had hardly any coverage, so you have to use a lot. And then didn't ever set properly, even with powder And setting spray it would still wipe off onto everything that touched it.
That being said, it's worth the price. And is good for beginner sfx artists.
(It's used for the nose and cheekbone contour in the photo provided)
