The hand strap is awkwardly positioned

I like this case very much. It's relatively light, pleasant to look at, and I really adore the fact that I can prop up my Kindle so I can read when I'm eating breakfast.

The only problem is the hand strap. I'm right-handed, and I would prefer to hold my Kindle in my right hand. Instead, because the strap is on the left, I have to hold it with my left, and turn the page with my right. Since you turn the page by tapping on the right side of the screen, it would be MOST convenient if the strap was on the right side, so that I could hold the Kindle with my dominant hand and also turn the page with my right thumb. I could flip it upside down in the case, but then the plastic bit at the bottom holds down on my Power button.

Sadly, the strap issue is enough for me to take off a couple of stars because it's super inconvenient. I hope the company makes a new case with a right-side strap, or at least give customers the option.

When I hold it with my left hand, it detaches from the front, so not useful.
I can't use my right hand to hold it because the handle is on the left side of the device. It would be much better if the hand was on the right side.

I ordered the case for the 2019 version kindle but received the pictured. No hand strap or card holder and did not fit. I returned the item and reordered from another vendor called Fintie…now I’m good to go.
