This is the best cover/case you could possibly buy for your basic kindle, it has all you need. I use the strap for night-time reading as this makes it much more comfortable to read when lying on your side in bed. And when I'm doing something with my hands like eating etc, I use the stand so I can still read but hands-free - perfect! What I love about the stand is that it is stable and won't move about at all when you are reading. The only negative about this product (though its not really a problem) is that is is heavier than some other cases and I like mine to be as light as possible when holding. But like I said, its not really an issue because if its starts to get a bit heavy in your hands after a while, you can flip up the stand and read hands-free. I purchased the Starry Night cover and it looks very smart, I would highly recommend it. Don't delay, buy this today. You won't be disappointed.

Bought 2, one for me and one for my mum. The case is sturdy, holds kindle well and stand works good so no need to hold kindle all the time. Has wake up facility and protects kindle although it is quite heavy. Will be ideal for holidays, especially when sunbathing on my stomach. Will no longer have to hang over end of sunbed and prop my kindle on a pair of shoes, will be able to use stand - sorted. That's if I ever get away on holiday again, until then it'll be the back garden!!

Great case! Feels very sturdy and looks well made. My kindle fits perfectly inside. The hand strap is comfortable, the stand also magnitises back into place when not in use.

The front cover also magnitises to the back strongly so it doesn't flap about. You can hold the kindle upside down by the hand strap and it doesn't come loose really love that extra thought!

This case is totally worth the money! It does add some.bulk to the kindle but it's worth it for the protection and extra grip. Much more comfortable for long reading sessions, no more hand cramp 🤣

After i reported my problems (see below) i got really great support from Linda at the seller, despite as i make clear in my original comment below (where i gave 1* only) the real problem is the confusing, too complicated, naming BY AMAZON of their Kindle models. How did i know that the one i was purchasing the cover for in late 2019 was a 2018 model? (My original complaint is below:
"It didn't fit the latest Kindle!
I took graet care - again - to try to match cover to Kindle. Again it failed. The cover had to be discarded. I purchased both on Amazon three days apart, and checked as best i could, before the Kindle had arrived. AMAZON should advertise all their Kindles with a simple code on the front of the Ad, and then cover sellers could note the same code. This is not the first time i have had this problem, and it seems to me that AMAZON themselves can easily facilitate fixing it."

I love the look of this case (the starry night one), and it has so many great features. I have used the strap to help me hold my Kindle while standing up on public transport, and use the little stand when reading at a table over lunch to free up my hands. The little 'card' pocket is useful too.

The Kindle clicks into place and then doesn't feel loose at all.

The whole thing feels sturdy and well built. After a few months of constant use in my bag, there are no obvious signs of wear. Would absolutely recommend.

I really like the case, it is good quality and fantastic that you can alternate between using the hand strap and have a stand as well.

It is lightweight but would be even nicer if it was featherweight. That's being really finicky and I can't see how it could be made lighter to be honest. The hard casing on the back is very sturdy and it has magnetic closing and this works when it's open too, it sticks to the back.

This is an excellent case, I originally bought an origami forefront case but it wasn't very sturdy so I decided to try this one instead, this was more expensive but is so much nicer.
The stand is very sturdy, the case is a bit heavier and more bulky than the origami case but i still prefer this one.
It is magnetic so the case stays closed, it is also magnetic when it's open so the case doesn't flap about when you're reading, the stand is also magnetic so when not using the stand it won't come out by accident. The grey is a really lovely colour as well.

I love it, it fits, looks great, but to use the magnet at the back and hold it, the kindle keeps turning off. If i keep the cover open like a book and don't fold to the back, it works fine, bit annoying hence why i deducted 2 stars. Obviously others don't have a problem, maybe its how i use it, but it is supposed to be able to open and fold and whilst doing that the kindle goes off, but not folded back it doesn't, that's my experience with this product.

I was cautious buying a kindle case - looked at many different styles and different sellers. I'm really pleased with my purchase! I would really recommend getting this case if you have a Kindle Gen 10.
- Great hard-shell protection fit and corners covered.
- Stitching and material is sturdy, durable and neatly made.
- Precise cutting of hard shell for easy accessibility of charging point.
- Stand is well made (can hold up kindle well but isn't bulky)
- Strap is placed well, comfortable and helpful.
- Card holder in the stand is a useful feature.

My kindle feels well protected. Other covers don't always cover all the way around the kindle but this case is great as it doesn't leave anything exposed. The magnetic close/open is not overly strong but you can feel then pull. The automatic wake/ sleep function seems to work well. Overall very good cover!
