About the Author

Shannon Sarna is the editor of the popular Jewish food blog The Nosher. Often referred to as the Queen of Challah, Sarna is known for her unique and untraditional challah recipes. I really, *really* wanted to love this book. I love Shannon Sharna and love her work at The Nosher. The idea of this book is great- different and more interesting variations of traditional Jewish baked goods. My main problem is with the editing and printing of the book. The first 10 pages of my book are poorly printed and blurry. Additionally, on one of the pages of topping for bagels, sunflower seeds are listed twice (see pic). I also tried her cinnamon sugar filling for my babka and it was soupy. I think the idea is great, but the measurements are off and I question if there is a misprint. I’m going to return my copy of the book and reorder and hope I get a better copy. Really disappointed that a $30 book is so poorly printed and edited. It pains me to give this three stars because the content is so good.
