I have been waiting for years for a book like this. Im teaching menstruation awareness workshop and an easy-to-read book that would explain our cycle in loving holistic natural way has been missing.
The book includes I think everything a teen girl would like to know in such a beautiful way, easy to understand. The author even describes masturbation in such a loving non judgmental way.
I cant wait to share this book with my daughter <3 thank u!

Amazing book! Buy it for your daughter! Heck, buy it for yourself. :)

This is the book you wish you'd had when you were 12 (or younger!). It explains everything you need to know about your changing body, your period, and your relationship to the earth and moon. It's an incredible empowering book for any woman. If you didn't get a "period talk" as a kid that actually made you love yourself, then this might be the healing book you need. Don't think about it, just get the darn book!

Not for age 8-12

Not appropriate for ages 8-12 as listed. Seems like 2 books in one. The info on getting your period and body changes is good but the detailed instruction on how to masturbate and sex positions seems like it's better for an older teen vs pre teen. Preparing to get your period usually comes long before having sex.

Where was this information when I was growing up?
Reviewed in the United States ๐บ๐ธ on 14 February 2022Verified Purchase
I just pre-read this book before giving to my daughter and itโs like having a support system in a book. It answers any questions you/they could have. It looks at these topics in a non-judgemental and non-shaming way. It supports the reader to love their body where they are at, embrace the transition, and offers herbal ideas so they can take charge of their health. I wish I had something like this when I was growing up. Absolutely beautiful and aesthetically pleasing cover and pages as well.
