Very affordable option for montessori activities and work trays. Light weight and good sizes. Children easily carry them. I chose to keep them unfinished and they work as intended.

These are great. But head of warning there is a small separation base. When I poured my paint into it it slowly dripped out as it dried and I had to sand off the drip marks on bottom. I now tape the backs prior to painting and pouring into them. This wouldn't be an issue if you just paint them with a brush.

These are a great value for the money. I am using them for our Montessori shelf at home. The first shipment I received was cracked, but this second shipment is in perfect condition. My husband sealed these with a couple of coats of raw linseed oil for added durability, and they look and feel great! These are not the most sturdy trays, so if you have a child that will be rough on them or you plan to have very heavy materials on these, then they wouldn’t work. But for every day Montessori work, they are great.

These boxes are awesome! My talented craftsman boyfriend was even impressed with how well they were made, and even more impressed when i told him what I paid for them. I did have to do just a bit of sanding before painting, but not enough to deduct from the overall rating of five stars. At the same time I ordered these, I ordered a more expensive tray. It went back the same day. It was horribly made. I'm sticking to this set, and placing another order today.Reviewed in the United States on 16 May 2016
The pictures below are of the almost-finished trays I have since added resin to them, but do not have pictures of them. They're awesome!
