2.0 out of 5 stars Skip the Tenacity edition - poorly edited!!!
Reviewed in the United States on 2 April 2019
If you’re really interested in organized crime, I would suggest you purchase this book, but for the love of god get a different edition. I purchased the Tenacity Publisher’s 2016 edition (paperback) and nearly every page has a misprint (see picture). As far as the actual content and readability goes, you’ll either love or hate this book depending on what you’re looking for. If you’ve read all the books on organized crime from this era and are really interested in the topic, read this book (just not this edition!!!). Do prepare yourself for old timey gems however, like, “Blue Jaw Magoon gave off an aura of power like a collie dog sheds its hair - all over the place.” What does that even mean??? If you’re interested in the organized crime topic casually or are more interested in newer crime members (the 1980s or so and later), I would skip this book.
