I apply a little liquid foundation mixed with a moisturizer to my face and finish with a dusting of powered minerals. I will be 60 yrs old, soon, and strangers will remark on how beautuful my complexionis. I spend less than 10 minutes on my makeup each morning. I am so glad my great aunt introduced me to mineral make up. NYX is a great product at a reasonable price. Better buy it from Amazon at a good price than going to Target, fight the crowd, only to find the shelf bare!

I've used this for about a year, and can honestly say it's a good product for the money. I recently tried the stay matte by NYX compact powder and HATED it. This loose powder here, works way better at keeping me powdered longer in between blotting and dusting my face---and DOES NOT CAKE or build up in creases etc. OILY SKIN will need to be blotted and powdered more than one time a day, period. I'm sure there are better powders out there, but for the price, this NYX loose powder is great.

Then I was in a customer testimonial video for a tech company and I used this on my whole face instead of whatever they had in the studio to de-shine. I first bought this product from CVS. I was a little skeptical because I am dark skinned and didn't want my skin to look chalky. However, after using it I fell in love with this product. The key to achieving a flawless look, is to use a liquid base foundation that is the right shade for your skin tone. If you use a powder base foundation, and then use this product, your skin will look chalky. However a liquid foundation allows this product to really work and absorb correctly. Also you only need a very thin layer to achieve the matte look this product is made to produce. By using the right type of foundation and the correct amount of this powder, this product will really do wonders. I only wish they made a bigger jar of it. Hope this review helps any potential buyers.
