The NF-A14 is a premium quality quiet 140mm fan with a square frame that complies with Noctua’s AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) standard. Its square shape and 140mm mounting holes (124.5mm spacing) make it ideal for use on watercooling radiators or as an upgrade for 140mm case fans. Featuring sophisticated aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels, the NF-A14 further improves the renowned quiet cooling performance of the award-winning NF-P14. The ULN version provides super-slow 800/650rpm speed settings for ultra-low-noise applications and highly noise sensitive users who demand near-silent operation. Its superb running smoothness, reference-class SSO2 bearing and Noctua’s trusted premium quality make it an elite choice for the highest demands.
Square 140mm frame
The NF-A14's square 140mm frame with 140mm mounting holes (124.5mm spacing) makes it a premium grade replacement for common 140mm case fans and perfect for use on 140mm water cooling radiators, where its square shape will ensure full coverage and best pressure performance.
Integrated anti-vibration pads
Integrated anti-vibration pads made from extra-soft silicone minimise the transmission of minute vibrations while maintaining full compatibility with all standard screws and other mounting systems.
The NF-A14 features the further optimised second generation of Noctua's renowned, time-tested SSO bearing. With SSO2, the rear magnet is placed closer to the axis to provide even better stabilisation, precision and durability.
Flow Acceleration Channels
The NF-A14 impeller features suction side Flow Acceleration Channels. By speeding up the airflow at the crucial outer blade regions, this measure reduces suction side flow separation and thus leads to better efficiency and lower vortex noise.
Scope of delivery
Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frames feature integrated anti-vibration pads as well as Noctua's proprietary Stepped Inlet Design and Inner Surface Microstructures, both of which further refine the fan's performance/noise efficiency.

My PSU and GPU both only run fans at medium to high load, and passive cool normally. My AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU cooler is stock, but fan controlled (motherboard) to be virtually inaudible - far quieter than this. The stock Phanteks case exhaust fan is far quieter than this, again almost inaudible, and runs from a speed controlled motherboard header.
This fan is very quiet, I tested the pc at the side of the desk I was sitting at. It was very quiet but easily audible.
I then went three to four metres away, on the other side of the desk from the fan. It was still very quiet, still obviously audible.
This is a great fan, it shifts what seems like a lot of air, it is very quiet but it does make some noise.
Very pleased and would definitely recommend if fan noise is a concern!!!
thinking that was it i turned on my computer, 1 months in i realise that i had been given a faulty fan, one of them was working perfectly and the other not even spinning. i tested it out with all my case fan connectors and still not working.
spoke with the nicest lady ever on the amazon customer service and she sorted it all out for me.
5* for the quality and performance, minus the one because one was faulty =/
The fan performs just as well as I had been told it would and it outputted very little sound for the air it moved.
The reason I am giving it 4 stars rather than 5 is due to how much of a pain it was to install. I have a Corsair case and maybe it is only a problem for me, but the anti-vibration screw/nail things that are provided to install the fan, were extremely fiddly to install.
I would recommend this fan, but would say to bear in mind that if you have a smaller case, that you should be prepared to spend a while trying to install them!
