Got it during Prime Day. The set was good since it came in 3 sizes. Didn't expect the jelly sheet to be so big. Thankfully, it was just the maximum size for my oven. Product looks good, used it once, no complaints so far. Looking forward to using it more often.
They came scratched already out of the box. They scratch really easily and the embossing of the logo in the pan is really annoying for cleaning. Could they not have put this on the bottom. They don't stack super well. They are pretty great pans though. The rolled rims get water in them and they're very thick.
At the same time, they're very thick and hearty. Quality pans. They're made in USA.
Material is solid, and its well made, but there is a major flaw in the product as far as I've used it.
For some reason the bottom of the pan grips heavily onto anything it touches. so trying to pull it out or push it into an oven rack is VERY resistant. To the point that it will just stop moving while I'm trying to push it forward on an oven rack. And looking at the bottom now, its extremely scratched up.
I would definitely not buy from this manufacturer again as a result of all of this. And really can't recommend the pans to anyone looking for a new set. I don't know if its a treatment on the bottom or what, but it should not feel like its grinding on metal when being put into the oven. It should slide smoothly.
All brand new aluminum baking sheets will perform worse than old, well used baking sheets. Some of the complaints about these will apply to any brand new baking sheets. When they are shiny and new, they don't conduct heat as well and are very "sticky".
Watch Hellen Rennie's video "Seasoning Your Baking Sheets to Improve Browning" on Youtube to learn more about why this is important, and how to season them. It only takes a few hours and makes a massive difference.
Lasts longer than Wilton or other affordable options. I've saved up to purchase the 3-Piece Baker's Set to invest in a quality item that will last, after using less expensive and affordable options for my baking.
There must be a reason why it's a staple item for bakers alongside brands like Chicago Metallic and Fat Daddios.
I ordered the Nordic Ware 3 Piece Baker's Delight Set, Aluminum which arrived scratched up and in terrible condition. I ordered a replacement and it was actually in worse condition than the original which I received. Also, the seal holding the pans together was broken which made it look like I was receiving a set someone returned.
Was so excited to get these new pans. Opened up the box and 2 of 3 were scratched (they are nestled together for shipping so the pan on top scratched the surface of the pan underneath) Gave them a quick rinse and now that they've dried, there is also a mark from where the glue was! Not sure about returns during this time because of Covid.
These are professional quality bake sheets. Take a little getting used to but excellent for roasting. Little adjusting for baking. They hold and distribute the heat better than anything I’ve had over the years.
I thought this was a high quality, durable product but given that at least one tray, in the package of three, was significantly scratched (original order and replacement order), I am skeptical that these trays would hold up to every day use.
