Rusty water stained after 1 wash!!

After washing for the first time, I left it to dry naturally and this is what happen! The package shld state wipe dry instead since it cannot be used in dishwasher. Bad quality. I gave it a 2 star bcoz it does the job

So, no, it can't do the job of a $100,000 machine that starts making perfect tortillas at the push of a button. You have to do some of the work yourself, such as making a ball that's fairly round and flat to start with, and giving it a quarter-turn each time you press. But it does all that could reasonably be expected, it flattens all sorts of things besides tortillas (such as Cornish pasties), it's easier than using a rolling pin, and just as easy to clean. OK, I don't 'love' it, but it does everything you could reasonably expect, and that earns it 5 stars in my book. **Pay attention to the warning against putting it in the dishwasher, unless you have it anodized.**

This is flimsy. Would not press a tortilla thin enough because it bends when you apply the pressure. When you push down o the handle fully, the metal at the leverage point lifts up and you don't get a full press. Save your money and buy something more substantial. If I hand't thrown out the box I would try to return it--now it will be in a yard sale next year.

It really doesn't press the tortilla down enough. I ended up having to roll the tortillas with a rolling pin. I really wanted this to work but I don't think it is as strong/sturdy as advertised. It's not like this item is super cheap either so I think I will just ask for my $ back. Its too bad I really need one.

Very light weight. At this price I was expecting more heavy product. It makes thick tortillas.

You cant press Indian 'Roti / Chapathi' in it, which is Indian version of Mexican Tortilla. But I dont complain for that.

If you are making 'Paratha' - yes this will work. And thats why Im giving 4 stars.

One thing more, the flattened Tortilla, Roti, Paratha whatever you make it Does tend to shrink soon. So keep your pan heated up.
