I love this jacket! Went to Korea in the winter with this. Kept me warm even up in the mountains at sub zero degree. Fitted me well as i wore only a long sleeve t shirt and another thin jacket under this. Strong winds on the mountain but the hood kept the wind away from my ears. I am petite so S size fitted me well. Overall no regrets

I got this to bring to eastern Europe over the holidays where it basically snowed every day and ranged from 25-40 degrees Fahrenheit. I wore a long-sleeve thermal and sweater underneath, and it kept me warm the whole time! It's very comfy and easy to assemble the two jackets. I am 5'4" and 135lbs with a large bust, and I ordered the medium and it fit perfectly! The outer shell is totally waterproof, and has a large hood to protect your face from the rain. When it's not raining, I just wear the inner coat by itself, and it keeps me warm in the California winter (basically 40-65 degrees Fahrenheit). Very happy with this purchase, and I definitely recommend it!

****Follow up: We've been experiencing frigid cold temperatures that last few days and I've had to go out a time or two. This coat has kept me warm and toasty. The only think I've noticed is the elastic loops used to secure the inner shell to the outer portion of the jacket at the sleeves is pulling away and will no doubt break soon. I would think for $240, this would not be an issue so soon.**** I've only had an opportunity to wear this a few times but it is super lightweight and warm. I read several reviews that stated it typically runs small so I ordered a size larger and it fits great. The only drawback I've found is the velcro closures. If I wear a knit scarf with the jacket, it gets caught in the velcro and can make a mess. Most jackets have velcro closures so I guess that's to be expected though.

Two coats in one! Super warm. Water resistant. Wind resistant. Sturdy material. Expensive but totally worth it. Winter has been especially brutal this year here in the Northeast. The weather forecast was warning that a polar vortex was on the way. My existing coats were either not warm enough, hoodless, or not water resistant. So I ponied up the cash and purchased this. Man, am I glad I did! I pretty much lived in it during the subzero temps outside and the excruciating 24 hours we were without heat/electricity after an ice storm. This was a real life saver. The inner lining jacket is attractive and thick enough to be warm on its own on a 30-50 degree day. The outer shell is light enough for 50-60 degrees when raining. Hood zips off. Very happy with my purchase.

Nice jacket, but...…..My daughter instructed me to buy a SMALL for her, and when she got it, it was a little too tight. I figured I could simply exchange it for a MEDIUM, and move on. Nope, had to return it for credit ($179.95), then REPURCHASE it ($239.95)! For some reason, this just doesn't seem right to me. Thanks, a lot.
