My wife and I are both educated people who read the instructions exactly and the few times we tried this thing it filled up the room with smoke, spit out uncooked kernels and burned the remaining ones black as coal. We even purchased a few different types of expensive corn thinking the corn was the issue, every time it did the same exact thing. Give your money to the poor before wasting it on this piece of crap, mine is going out to the trash.

So you have to keep my secret. Promise you wont tell nostalgia that I violated the warranty. This is probably a great popcorn popper but is is an amazing coffee roaster. Not many popcorn poppers get hot enough to roast coffee but this is one of the remaining poppers that does. It lasts forever. I'm on my second popper in three years. That may not seem like it lasts long but it runs for an hour once a week. After two years my first one burned out. I am about one year into my second one and it is running strong.

Found positive review for this product on site for those following anti-inflammatory diets and avoiding corn and popping sorghum instead. Claim was this was the only popper that worked for the smaller sorghum grain. Don't believe it, works horrible, creates a large burned mess in the cooker part and fills the house with smoke! The grain just bounces around in the heat and never comes out the chute. Throwing it away after trying several batches with same results and carefully following instructions. I would give 0 stars if possible!

Read the "destructions" before you use it. If you follow recommended steps it works as advertised. I have about half the "duds" as experienced with microwave popcorn. It doesn't stink the place up like the used microwave bags and no greasy mess. Use a large enough bowl to catch the popcorn and there won't be much cleanup. One big difference is the popcorn is very bland, so you need to add salt and butter to taste HOWEVER, for God's sake don't put the butter IN THE MACHINE. Very, very, bad.

This is a great little hot air corn popper. It is relatively inexpensive and does a very good job. It pops a huge bowl of popcorn and about 98% of the kernels are popped. None of the corn escapes and flies around either. It is also small so it does not take up a lot of room when storing. It also comes in three nice colors. I would recommend buying this popper if you are looking for a great little popper to do the job without spending a whole lot of money.
