It isn’t the most potent but it definitely is true lavender and not a disgusting herbal blend that many companies trick you into buying (see: kirona).
I use it for my diffusers and it is so calming. The only drawback is that it requires a lot of drops as all the oil evaporates into the air after just a few minutes. This means it gets used up very fast, however I’m sure it lasts longer in other applications.

Bottom line: THE MOSQUITOS WON'T BITE YOU IF YOU WILL USE THIS OIL!!! Trust me, I use it all the time.
Feeling much guilt (at first) over doing this but not wanting my felines to get hurt on the Christmas tree, I dutifully mixed 3 drops of this oil with 500 ml of water as one reviewer suggested and sprayed it on the xmas tree and on an upholstered chair that the feline members of our house like to scratch. 20 minutes later older feline was happily scratching the chair while younger feline was literally licking the fake "snow" attached to the xmas tree.
Added 12 more drops of oil to the existing 500 ml of water , mixed it up, sprayed again very liberally this time.. the scent was terrible and certainly succeeded in driving HUMANS away from the xmas tree much to my wife's displeasure :P .. but sure enough, an hour later both felines were back to investigating the tree and playing with the ornaments.
Kudos to amazon for their usual amazing customer service, they just refunded me and told me to throw away the oil so no hassle having to mail it back (helpful hint ALWAYS select "fulfilled by amazon" if possible so amazon can help you out like this). Another person on here mentioned that peppermint oil might work better so I might give that a try but as far as cat repellent .. sorry, not working for this family.
I’ve researched a TON & am
Impressed by their manufacturing, etc-
Beyond that- they have always worked fantastically & I’ve gone on to buy MANY!
I have started buying most of my oils in 4 Oz size options b/c I make my own cleaning sprays, air fresheners, etc w/them, plus, I diffuse pretty much around the clock-
Repeat customer for sure!
