Why Choose Nulaxy Vertical Mouse?

  • The natural resting position of the wrist and forearm is the ‘thumbs-up’ position. This is a contrast to the position of the standard flat mouse where you rotate your forearm to get the hand in a palm down position (pronation). One of the benefits of a vertical mouse is it can prevent pronation and carpal tunnel syndrome.
  • The Nulaxy vertical mouse may just be what you need to power through your work day. For workers who can not limit their time using a mouse, a vertical mouse may reduce strain and prevent this injury.
  • Nulaxy vertical mouse is a unique device for your desktop or laptop that will allow you more natural movement in your arm & wrist and help you move more freely.

Package:

  • 1 Nulaxy Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Optical Mouse (2 AAA batteries not included)
  • 1 2.4G USB receiver (in the bottom of the mouse)
  • 1 instruction manual.

Specification:

  • Size: 112*68*38 mm
  • Tracking resolution:800/1200/1600 DPI
  • Straight USB cable
  • 5-button and scroll wheel
  • High performance on different interface

5.0 out of 5 stars I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed, it's darn comfy!

I spend 8-10hrs a day on computers. I'm not stranger to mice, but I am a stranger to vertical mice. Currently I use a couple big-brand and very expensive mice. My wrist and hand certainly starts to fatigue so I wanted to try a vertical without spending a ton of money. I stumbled upon this guy and it was very inexpensive. So far, I'm pretty impressed!!

Standard 2x AAA's and a USB Nano type receiver that stows in the battery compartment if you'd like. Fit and finish seems very good, slightly rubberized feel where you grip.

We have 6x buttons on this guys as follows:

Left and Right Click
Middle Click via Scroll Wheel which brings up mouse movement scroll
Back and Forward near your thumb
Finally DPI right below the scroll wheel which has 3x levels to increase or decrease the mouse sensitivity.

I must say, it feels pretty natural to "grab" this and use it. I have size large hands and it fits very well. Button placement is pretty much spot on. The only thing I would like it to have would be more of a ridge line for my pinky to rest on, but not a huge deal.

All in all if you're a fan of or considering trying a vertical mouse, I don't think you can go wrong here!

4.0 out of 5 stars Eases my achy wrist
Reviewed in the United States on 18 March 2019
I've wanted to try one of these ergonomic mice for quite a while, and this one was an inexpensive way to do so. I have to say, I was surprised at how easy it was to get used to the mouse being in a different orientation. After a few minutes, it wasn't really even registering that the mouse was "odd". What I did notice, however, is that my wrist was much more relaxed after a long period of working and then gaming. However, it's not without its flaws. I have particularly large hands and as such, my ring finger tends to drag on the desk when using this mouse. I suspect someone with particularly small hands might have an issue as well. It's comfortable, but less than ideal. The DPI feature is a nice touch, as I can use one setting just mousing around, then hit the button to turn up the DPI for gaming, though it's not as configurable as some other mice. As to batteries, it uses a pair of AAA's rather than the single AA that my previous wireless mouse used, so you should be aware of that. My only real big nitpick with this mouse comes from travel. The placement of the receiver for the mouse when stored for travel pretty much requires that you take out a battery in order to remove it as they're so close to each other. It's also rather large. It's about the same footprint as my G502, but nearly twice the height - it doesn't fit well in my laptop bag at all as a result. That said, build quality is decent, and I suspect it'll take a few drops before anything goes wrong with it. Click action is good, and so is the feel on the scroll wheel and back/forward buttons. I'd like a tilting scroll wheel, though - I miss that from some of the other mice I've used.

In short:

The good:
-- Definitely eases the tension on my wrist after long use
-- Solid build quality
-- Multiple DPI settings accessible from a button
-- Responsive both in movement and in buttons
-- Comfortable and stable to hold and use

The bad:
-- DPI settings can't be changed - you can only cycle through them
-- Not good for all hand sizes
-- The wireless receiver is hard to get out of the mouse unless you remove a battery

The ugly:
-- Too big for most laptop bags
-- Picks up grease kind of easily

All in all, it does a great job, particularly for its price point. I wouldn't call this a gaming mouse, but it works well enough to ease some ache in the wrists compared with my regular wireless mouse. Portability isn't so great - it's convenient, but really big to fit in your bag.

Pros:
1. It feels good, almost like a small regular mouse. I suggest that you use it for a few minutes and then go back to a regular mouse. I felt then how much it really rotates my wrist.
2. It is solidly made.

Cons:
1. No batteries included. You will need 2 AAA batteries.
2. See pic; it shows the user's index finger about even with the front of the scroll wheel. My hands are average for a male. If I grip it fully, my index finger extends just off the edge of the mouse and my thumb well beyond both of its buttons. That means that using the wheel is awkward. The wheel is close to my second joint. Ditto with the 2nd of the two buttons for the thumb. I can't use the button in front of the wheel without moving my hand. If I hold it loosely, it's fine but my wrist rotates back down. Besides, it feels as if it were made to be gripped fully.
3. I have submitted a support request because I cannot adjust the cursor speed. I could not find any help on their website. The mouse set up in W10 did not change its cursor speed. Sadly, their email for support does not exist!
4. When scrolling in Chrome and Word using the wheel, it will sometimes skip pages rather than lines, very irritating.
If they ever elongate it (and fix the scroll & cursor speed); I'll try it again.
5. Returned. Scrolling problem grew worse. Finally, I removed it when I moved the mouse and it closed two programs.
