I was initially pleased with my Nutribullet until the gasket came loose on the blade it came with. I unscrewed the blade after blending a smoothie as normal, only to find that the gasket had come unseated from the blade. Was furious to learn that this common problem is unfixable and requires you to buy a replacement blade. Well, I bit my tongue and bought this new, official replacement from Amazon. Guess what? Exactly the same thing happened in less than 10 usages (see photo). I am doing everything by the book, not blending anything it wasn't designed for, never filling above the line etc. It's almost as if blending sometimes creates a vacuum which sucks the gasket clean off when you unscrew it.
Another review, posted a couple of months before this one, seemed to imply that the newer models of this blade have a "built in" gasket that can't come off. This is NOT the case, as you can see from my photo, the gasket still comes off like it did with my first one, and like it has with countless other people. Until they solve this problem, I cannot recommend this blender or its replacement parts. It seems to me that they KNOW of this problem but they have no interest in fixing it because they're doing quite nicely out of people buying replacement blades on a regular basis. I honestly want my money back for whole unit AND the replacement.
