It's like crushing a whole bunch of different pills and tasting it... The extra sugar or artificial flavorings in the flavored ones cannot be recommended enough.

God. It's one of those tastes you will never forget.
Save yourself man. Take my experience and save yourself the torture.
I have to finish the damn thing as punishment for making the wrong decision...

I hate myself.

Great product. Taking this before and after a workout really helps with muscle fatigue, especially if you are lifting while at a caloric deficit.

Warning, though: The "unflavored" isn't really unflavored; it tastes like dirt. You NEED to mix it with something, like your pre-workout and/or post-workout drinks/shakes in order to mask the flavor. I mix it with my chocolate-flavored whey protein powder and I can't taste it. Alternatively, you could take quick "shots" of this with a couple ounces of water, with a "chaser" like you would do with a shot of alcohol you don't like. But just filling up a glass with water and mixing this with it and trying to drink it? Not gonna happen.

Since these are BCAAs (Branch Chain Amino Acids), they are metabolized immediately without having to be processed by the liver. Therefore, the fast post-workout recovery and muscle gains are quickly noticeable. Give it a few days and it will make gains easier. The pills are super big, but I don't have trouble washing them down. I honestly am going to keep taking them! I love my workouts on them! Add the same creatine products by this company (same green and black label) and you'll REALLY notice the strength gains!

While many of the other reviewers have commented on how terrible the unflavored is, I really do not mind it at all. I actually prefer it, and I'll tell you why.

I usually put two servings into my mixer with my beta alanine, and fill it with water and drink it during the course of my workout. I find that I prefer little taste, having something as close to water as possible, during my workout. After my workout, however, if I do have an additional serving, I do mix it with gatorade powder.

In terms of the product efficacy, I personally think that this product helps with endurance, especially on days that I go to the gym right after work and haven't eaten since lunch. I especially like that It's something I can "drip" in throughout my workout, preventing any highs or lows.

Ok so the unflavored isn’t the greatest tasting but maybe I’m weird because I don’t think it’s THAT bad. I usually add it to my protein shakes and don’t taste it at all. But I also put a scoop of it in my shaker and mix it with just water when I go to the gym. The flavor is pretty diluted that way so it’s tolerable (at least to me). It dissolves very well, there are no clumps left behind. I can’t have the sugar of the flavored ones because I’m doing a keto diet. Plus if you get the unflavored one you can add it to your protein drinks (which would probably be gross if you got a lemon or raspberry flavor LOL).
