Our daughter is still four weeks from being due, but we bought these in preparation — mama’s got to nest! I was immediately struck by the softness of the bristles. I demonstrated the softness by using the brush on my husband, and he too was surprised. He told me not to brush his hair as he felt unworthy of using such a nice brush! As a first time mom, I’ve been OBSESSED with finding the best products for my daughter, and I think I’ve succeeded in purchasing this brush set. I’m sure it will be a while before we need the comb and paddle brush, but the goat bristle brush is worth it on its own. The best part might be that our product came with a lifetime warranty from the company. I can’t imagine needing to claim it, but it’s always comforting to purchase baby products from a company that really stands behind the quality of its merchandise.

I ordered these and the first set came and the soft brush shed everywhere. The company was so sweet and replaced it because they said it shouldn’t be shedding. I was concerned, but figured I’d try it again. The second brush- no shedding! So if your soft brush is shedding, definitely contact the company.
The soft brush is REALLY soft. It isn’t near as rough as the fingernail scrubber they use on the baby in the hospital. The soft brush will do absolutely nothing for cradle cap. But it brushes the tiny baby hairs really well. And my daughter loves having her hair brushed with this brush.
The hard bristle brush isn’t really for babies. It is more for toddler hair. I use it for my two year old. He still has baby-ish hair, but it isn’t as thin and short as baby hair. The hard bristle brush works really well for him, especially if his hair is wet after a bath.
I’m not the biggest fan of the comb. I think I just don’t like combs. My husband is super impressed with the comb. However, if baby get some dry scalp issues, the comb is the way to go getting some of that to loosen and get off their head. (I use apricot oil on the head and the comb with this comb to clear it pretty quickly.)
The entire set is really cute looking. They look cute sitting out. They would make an awesome baby gift or even as decoration for a nursery or baby shower. They really are adorable. And now that I have one that isn’t shedding goat hair everywhere, I’m happy with how they actually work, as well.

I sit here in amazement at how beautiful this has made my grandsons hair grow. I actually didn’t even believe a brush would help hair grow when I ordered this but I was looking for a “different” gift to give my daughter for my new grandson and I wanted something that would be heirloom quality, that could be passed down for generations. The wood grain on this is stunning. The comb is beautiful as well, and I liked that it was safe in case the baby did decide to chew on it. All of my own babies were born without much hair and then lost their “baby hair” before they started growing thick long beautiful hair around preschool age. I got this as a Christmas present but went ahead and gave it to him about a 6weeks before Christmas. His mom brushed his hair 1x in the morning and 1x in the night. After brushing, his hair literally would glow. It had such a beautiful soft shine to it. After about a week I could see the edges around his ears starting to fill in where he would turn his head on the mattress. At 3 weeks, 3 were no more bald spots and his cradle cap was completely gone. He also really loves his hair bruised and i think he thinks it’s a special time between him and his parents. I’m very happy with this purchase. It comes in a nice storage container that will keep the bristles from getting smashed & hopefully keep it safe for many years to come

This set is amazing! So far I've only used the one brush made with goat hair, and my newborn daughter is on cloud 9 when I brush her hair after a bath. I too love the feel of it. The only downside is that the bristles (although extremely soft) tend to shed a bristle or two in the midst of brushing her hair. But other than that, it was definitely worth the buy.

What a difference a good brush can make! I just had a cheap plastic comb for my daughter since she was born (she's ten months now) it would get tangled in her hair and wasn't great for her. I just received this set and tried each one on her. They were all far superior to what she's been using but the soft goat hair brush is really amazing. So soft and makes her hair look so nice and shiny. She loves to feel the bristles too. I'll be buying these for baby shower gifts in thr future
