This has turned out to be a really great purchase. I had used one in my weekly Pilates classes and felt that it would be good for my daily morning stretches at home. It's a great first activity to do, to decompress your spine and do some slow stretches with it under your pelvis. The ball comes with a little straw to blow it up but you really don't need it; you can blow it up by mouth directly. It's convenient enough to take along when traveling... just deflate, pack it flat into a suitcase, and inflate again. It's roughly 6" in diameter and about 22" in circumference when blown up with a bit of "give." Good quality. Initially it felt a little sticky to the touch but that vanished within a couple of days.
Edit: July 2017. The ball has finally started to lose air to the point where I have to blow more air into it every week or 10 days. The pin is really falling apart and it's very difficult to take it out. So I got myself a new one -- same product.
