I had some other cast iron cleaning stuff, but I threw it out after I tried this product. The scraper at the tip does more than just a superficial job of removing stuck-on stuff. Anything it can't get, the short stiff bristles will clean off. The set of angled bristles cleans around the edges. I put it on the upper rack of the dishwasher where the spray can get to it properly and it comes out like new. When it wears out I'll gladly spend 10 bucks on another, but it's holding up well. Don't be the person who gives this one star after melting the nylon bristles on hot cast iron. Be the person who buys this brush then cleans burnt-on pizza cheese shreds from cast iron and gets the results shown in my photo.

Brush definitely helps to clean my indoor electric grill, but be warned it isn't safe for high temps, and would be best shortly after grilling or as a wet brush in your sink as mine melted while using it under 400 degrees before cooking.
