If you have ever had to repair or replace a garbage disposal, then I am sure you have been lectured on basically only allowing crumbs to fall into the disposal. This dish squeegee makes prepping dishes for a dishwasher or sink washing a breeze. I hold the dish over the trash can and after a few swipes, the dish is ready for washing. In comparison to using a paper towel, it saves you money, helps protect the environment, and keeps your fingers free from gunk.

This product is AMAZING. We live in a studio apartment, with a small kitchenette and our sink likes to spray everywhere. We are hooked up to grey water and do not have a garbage disposal. THIS PRODUCT not only is fantastic at scrapping food off of our plates (so it doesn't go down the drain), it helps to squeegee the countertop when water has sprayed everywhere!! I also take it into the bathroom and squeegee the countertop when I've made too big of a mess getting ready! 100% would recommend.

Best thing I didn't know I needed

Ordered this because I saw it on some Buzzfeed list of must-have products. I try to be conscious about what I rinse down my sink (no oils/butter, etc.) so I usually use paper towels to wipe dishes and cutlery before washing in the sink. However, this can sometimes result in using a lot of paper towels to really wipe everything off. Enter: the DISH SQUEEGEE. This thing has been so great at replacing my 'paper towel' method. Now, I can just squeegee off any oil, sauce, butter, etc. right into the trash, and it only takes a few seconds. It's also great for cleaning water off my countertops after I finish washing dishes (I just push it into the sink), which saves me from using more paper towels.
It's small enough to not look ugly sitting around by the sink, and it's a great and easy eco-conscious option.
I can imagine that it's very versatile, too. I'm going to order another one for my shower so I can wipe down the walls to prevent mildew. You could probably even use it for car washing.
Basically, it's a great product, and it's even better that it's so cheap. I'm going to give one to all my friends and family for Christmas!

I purchased this dish scraper for our travel trailer. I am very careful that no food products go down our drain, into the grey waste tank. Previously I have been using paper towel or napkins to encourage leftover food into the trash. But that method was often messy or less effective than I liked, plus being wasteful. I tried plastic/rubber spatulas, but they were completely disappointing.

The silicone on this scraper does a much better job of clearing food residue from plates, bowls, as well as pots & pans. And the price was right. Now the only paper towel I use in the pre-wash ritual is to wipe the edge of the scraper.

This little guy is one of my best purchases!
