Always be prepared for on-the-go potty emergencies with the OXO Tot 2-in-1 go potty. The 2-in-1 go potty opens quickly and easily so it can be ready in snap, whether you need a standalone potty to use with disposable bags, or a potty seat to use in a public restroom. When using the 2-in-1 go potty as a stand-alone potty, the legs lock securely in place at the ideal height for growing tots, and the soft, flexible flaps hold the disposable bags securely in place. Three disposable bags with absorbent pads are included, and refills are available, but the Potty was designed to accommodate standard plastic bags in a pinch. For use as a potty seat on toilets in public restrooms, the legs of the 2-in-1 go potty fold all the way out and non-slip grips keep the Potty stable on round or elongated toilets. The small seat is sized perfectly for little bottoms and the generous shield prevents splatter. The smooth surfaces of the potty are easy to clean, and the legs fold in to fit the Potty in the included Travel Bag for compact storage in cars, strollers or diaper bags.

My pregnant self immediately decides it has to pee....and HOW! Waze helpfully tells me it's 45 minutes to the next exit - no bueno. Pregnant self is insistent...and then I remember I have this awesome toilet seat in the back of the car for our son to use.
I did not hesitate to grab that sucker out of the trunk and bring it up to the passenger seat - because of course, we are stuck in a sea of semis and other vehicles at this point, so I can't get out and use it roadside. You have truly not lived until you've tried to levitate your 6-month pregnant butt above a travel car seat in front of your son and significant other. Anyway, it wasn't even all that hard to maneuver, it's just that I was laughing so hard at the situation, which of course only served to exacerbate said situation.
Point is, it works great as a kids travel potty, especially in unfamiliar hotels with unfamiliar toilets, as well as in Cracker Barrel parking lots. But don't discount it's usefulness for adults in need as well. :)

For potty training this really is essential. Now we can leave the house and not worry. Toddler says "pee!" and we can accommodate. Useful in a public bathroom, parking lot, side of the road, etc.
The plastic bag covers the entire seat, so this thing always stays clean. Plus it has a travel bag.
Tip: after using it, prep a new bag for it before putting it back in the travel bag. Then when you need it, it's all ready to go.
I have used it in MANY times in public bathrooms. I was a little hesitant that it wouldn't work in certain situations, but I was wrong. I have used it in park bathrooms that have no actual lift up seat on them, I have used in in port-a-potties, and I have used it in normal bathrooms. It fits great in all these circumstances. An unexpected plus is that my daughter likes to hold the side of the toilet seat when she goes to the bathroom and its nice because she can actually put her hands on the flip out legs and I don't have to worry about her touching the public bathroom at all.
And lastly, when you take your kid to the restroom, you might as well go too. Well, I was in a hurry to use the bathroom because I just wanted to get my kid out of there before she touched everything after she went, so I didn't bother to put the potty seat away, I just used it too. And I gotta say, it was so much better than squatting or putting my own butt on the public seat! Only slightly embarrassed for having used it! :)
TIP: I bought biodegradable grocery bags to use instead of their refill bags. Got a stack of 100 for $7.
They work great, and I feel a little better for the environment tossing bowel movements in the trash. I am concerned about plastic.
I drop a tissue or napkin down there to help with any splatter. Easy.
Seriously, I keep in my car. So easy to pull over and let the child use this and not run into a store.
It folds out and can use on any potty to keep them from falling.
It is VERY easy to take to the beach, or camping or even to a friends house.
This is very versatile.
My ONLY complaint, is I wish it stood a little taller, I really wish.. However, I love this product.
